Dortmund / NRW – It is heading for autumn, so let’s enjoy a weekend with temperatures above 20 degrees. These are our tips for the weekend!

Autumn is slowly approaching. So we enjoy the temperatures over 20 degrees again at the weekend – and some pretty cool events in Dortmund!

Friday September 16

from 2 p.m .: Already on Thursday Thursday (September 15th) "Innovative Citizen Festival" started at Dortmund U. For four days, until Sunday, you have the opportunity to watch the hottest shit about digital manufacturing, food and farming, upcycling and digitization. from 5 p.m .: The first of three starts today Street Food-Days at Dortmund U. The food lovers from Bochum have brought together 30 food trucks and offer you the hottest and hottest dishes from world cuisine in the shadow of the U tower. Free entry, by the way. from 19 clock: Do you like oriental music? Then she could "Night of the 1000 dancers" in the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus something for you. from 7:30 p.m .: Rockabilly fans are best off tonight at Subrosa. Rockin’Rhonda & TheSolidStuds are guests. The Canadian grande dame of rockabilly sings fearlessly and dares heart in a glamorous costume. She admires drunken women, complains of wicked men, conjures up the love and pain of life in general. Each of their songs is an (almost) true, personal story – at least the organizers say. More information is available here.

Saturday September 17th

starting at 10 o’clock: Tinkerers and technicians and people who like innovations are back with us today "Innovative Citizen Festival" best kept (see Friday)

from 12 noon: And today there are delicacies in front of the U tower Street food market at the place to be (see Friday).

from 1 p.m .: The skaters among you should definitely come to the skate park in Hombruch today. At the Currywurst Cup you can measure yourself against other skaters. Young or old, beginners or professionals, everyone can participate. Starters under the age of 16 must bring a declaration of consent from their parents. from 3:30 p.m .: The BVB receives SV Darmstadt today. You have no tickets? Among other things, in Subrosa you can follow the game in front of the screen. Psst, fans of other teams are also welcome there!

from 4 p.m .: The night of industrial culture a few weeks ago was a foretaste of what you can enjoy at the Dortmund Museum Night expected. Also this year Dortmund’s most popular cultural event offers a diverse program of around 550 individual events. Concerts, art, comedy, shows, hands-on activities and a large family program at 50 venues are available. Sunday September 18th

starting at 10 o’clock: Not only those with children among you should go to the Dortmund Zoo with wide eyes today. Because it is Little Panda Day. The children can go to the “Red Panda Ranger" be trained and there are even more program items. from 19 clock: At the end of the weekend, the FZW turns into a mix of dance temple, stage, exhibition hall and gambling den.
