How to change a car radio?

Changing the radio is usually done in a few simple steps. Before you start to remove the old radio, you must disconnect the battery. Then you can remove the outer cover of the radio. the bezel is usually only plugged on and can be lifted off relatively easily, if necessary with the help of a screwdriver. To be able to pull the old radio out of the slot, you need special so-called unlocking pins. Most of the time these tools are included in the delivery of the radio. These two slim tools are pushed all the way into the slots provided to the right and left of the radio. This loosens the radio and slips out of the clamps that hold it in place.
