Last year we couldn’t decide on the best beach in Crikvenica. It is the same this year. The sandy beach Crni Molo in Crikvenica and the beach Poli mora in Selva share the first place. Numerous activities like water aerobics don’t let boredom arise.

The beach Dražica is situated in the centre of the village. A dense pine forest provides shade, while the beach promenade invites you for a walk or a scooter ride. The little ones will enjoy the numerous entertainment offers, such as water slide and trampoline. The beach is the proud bearer of the Blue Flag, an international recognition for special cleanliness.

4th Zaton

Near Zadar there is a 1.5 km long sand/gravel beach in Zaton. The shallow water makes this beach ideal for small children. There are many entertainment offers organized by experienced animators. Shady trees are also available. This beach also carries the Blue Flag.

The beach Vela Plaža is 2 km long and is situated in the middle of Baška. This natural pebble beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, can accommodate several thousand guests. A long shallow entrance to the crystal clear sea makes this beach ideal for children. In the surrounding restaurants and cafés you can get a refreshment or something to eat. The beach also offers entertainment for children. You can rent canoes, surfboards, sunbeds and umbrellas.

6th Orebic, Pelješac peninsula

Trstenica is a pebbly beach whose shallow transition to the sea consists of sand. This makes the beach especially suitable for children. On the beach you can rent numerous props for water sports and sun beds and umbrellas. If the sun gets too much for you, you will find a pleasant shady place under the trees. Especially in the high season this beach is very busy, so we recommend you to secure your place as early as possible.

The beach Kraljičina plaža is >with children and elderly people. The beach has been known for its medicinal mud since Roman times. Children will love the warm, shallow sea. There is plenty of material available for sand castles.

The urban sandy beach is about one kilometre long, has a long shallow entrance to the sea and is ideal for children. Since the beach is very spacious, you can always find a place even in high summer. The only drawback: there is no natural shade, but you can rent a parasol and loungers. The nearby river Cetina is ideal for an excursion.

With its 22 sandy beaches, Lopar is the ideal destination for the picky. We have chosen the Rajska plaža – which means: heavenly beach and the name says it all. Another advantage is safety, because children can play in the shallow, warm sea within sight of their parents.

Near Omiš there is a kilometre-long sandy beach Duće. While the adults can play beach volleyball, the little ones have the opportunity to build sand castles and “bake” sand cakes. The beach is ideal for small children and non-swimmers as the entrance to the sea is very long and shallow. The surrounding trees offer pleasant shade, but you can also sit down in one of the restaurants or cafés.
