Visit to the Boone Hall Plantation

… or better known as Mont Royal with torches in the storm. After a little stroll through Charleston, it’s a 20-minute drive to the former cotton plantation. At the entrance we still buy our tickets and shortly thereafter we are already in front of her: the famous Avenue of Oaks.

Charming Charleston in South Carolina

Charleston, South Carolina. After our boat tour in the swamps, we finally arrive in the capital of South Carolina. With this visit another long-cherished dream of mine comes true, because since I first saw torches in the storm, I dreamed of seeing Charleston once with my own eyes. Incidentally, this year again named the most beautiful city in America, Charleston is like no other to represent the elegance and charm of the ancient South. Advent, Advent – which 3 Christmas markets you should not miss in Dresden

When the Advent season begins, it is time again in Dresden: The Christmas markets are opening their doors. Personally, however, I find the Christmas markets around the actual Striezelmarkt cozy and beautiful. But more on that! If you’re planning a visit to Dresden during the Advent season, today’s my top 3 Christmas markets in the city, you should not miss.

My top 5 tips for Ulm

Why wander into the distance … also in Germany there are great cities to discover! To be honest, I never really had Ulm on the radar when it came to a city break in Germany. I’ve heard something about the Ulmer Münster, but what else does the city have to offer? No clue! But as it turned out, it’s definitely a lot more than you would expect at first glance … Since my sister took it here, meanwhile, I had several years to get to know the city peu á peu and I have to …
