Aesthetic dentistry

Beautifully shaped, natural-looking teeth with which you can bite powerfully are the primary goal of aesthetic dentistry.
From the symmetry of the teeth to the color design, we take care of all the details for you.

bleaching

Express sympathy with a smile. Brilliant white teeth have an effect, promote your charisma and your self-confidence!
Whether home or in-office whitening, we will inform you about the best whitening method for you.

implant prosthetics

Away from incompatible dental implants – in our practice you will receive specially manufactured implants based on a monolytic ceramic structure to help reconstruct your teeth.

Caries diagnosis (laser)

Tooth caries is triggered by bacteria that attack the enamel and cause long-term damage. Early diagnosis of tooth decay is critical to treating and maintaining teeth.

TMJ disorders

Often underestimated! Complaints caused by the temporomandibular joint are diverse and often found throughout the body. Corrections in the tooth area can prevent or cure diseases.

Pediatric Dentistry

It is very important to teach your children at an early age the importance of careful dental care. We try to use a variety of methods to remove the fear of the dentist from children and to familiarize them with the devices and techniques for care.

Periodontology

More than 80% of the adult population show symptoms of gingivitis, e.g. bleeding gums, caused by bacteria. If this clinical picture is not treated, the entire tooth structure can become ill and periodontitis can develop from it.

prophylaxis

Healthy teeth are crucial for a person’s quality of life. For this reason, one of the most important goals in dentistry is the long-term preservation of natural teeth. Dental prophylaxis contributes to this.

Prosthetics / dentures

The task of dentures or prosthetics is to replace partially lost tooth substance or entire teeth. This means you can move around in everyday life without any problems, eat normally and shine with a natural, attractive appearance.

splint therapy

Thanks to special dental splints – which are similar to an athlete’s mouthguard – we are able to combat snoring disorders as well as lighter sleep apnea. The tooth splint ensures a restful sleep in every respect.

Root canal treatment

If bacteria get inside the tooth and threaten to destroy the tooth structure, root canal treatment is necessary. The treatment enables teeth to be preserved without the disadvantages of tooth removal, such as pain and costs for implants.

Visit to the retirement home / hospital / nursing home

If there are minor problems such as pressure marks, we can also pay you a visit as an alternative to visiting a doctor.

Visit to kindergarten / day care center

In order to bring you the right care and a visit to the dentist, we pay a visit to the municipal day care center in Ostpreussenstrasse once a year. The children also visit us once a year.
Furthermore, we can also visit the children in the Bischof Wittmann School SVE if necessary.

dental health

With us you receive friendly and competent support in the care of your teeth. Our practice is set up according to the latest treatment criteria and presents the current technological progress in dentistry.

Regular brushing of teeth

Brushing your teeth is necessary from the very first milk tooth – once a day until your second birthday, then twice a day, in the morning after breakfast and in the evening before going to bed.

From the age of 3, the child can learn to brush their teeth under instruction. One should the child according to the principle "Front-Achen imitate" bring this process closer in a playful way and as parents (partly) this too "cleaning ritual" set an example, e.g. brushing teeth together after meals. In addition, the parents help their children by checking the cleaning result and cleaning accordingly if the execution is inadequate. This gives brushing teeth a high value and importance.

The right children’s toothbrush

The importance of brushing teeth is conveyed on the one hand through demonstration and the role model function of the parents, but on the other hand through fun and games. For example, the child-friendly design of the toothbrush increases the fun factor. If the child likes his toothbrush and therefore likes to use it, the first important step to regular dental care is taken.

Other features of a children’s toothbrush

  • short brush head (less than 2 cm)
  • many individual tufts of rounded plastic bristles
  • thick, non-slip handle

As for adults, the same applies to children: replace the toothbrush with a new one every two to three months.

The children’s toothpaste

Young children still have problems spitting out when brushing their teeth, so they often choke and accidentally swallow toothpaste.
There is a risk of overdosing on fluoride. For this reason, children’s toothpastes contain only a small amount of fluoride as a precaution (up to 500 mg per kilogram of toothpaste). The toothpaste for adults, on the other hand, contains between 1000 and 1500 mg fluoride per kilogram of pasta. For children up to 6 years, the use of a children’s toothpaste is therefore recommended. Another tip: To brush your teeth, a pea-sized amount of toothpaste is sufficient.

Regular visits to the dentist

. are important – even for the little ones!
Preventive care and regular checks are important criteria for healthy teeth. A regular visit to the dentist twice a year gives both adults and children this security.
