Where is Faliraki?

The holiday resort Falikari is located on the east coast of the Greek Mediterranean island of Rhodes, about 20 km from the island’s capital, Rhodes Town. To the north of the bay is a rocky stretch of coast with the famous thermal baths of Kalithea, to the south of Falikari are Ladiko and the popular Anthony Quinn Bay.

Those who spend their family vacation in Faliraki can travel most comfortably by plane. If you have booked your holiday as a package tour, you will usually be picked up at the airport by a transfer service and taken to the hotel. Otherwise you can continue by taxi or public transport.

What’s the weather like in Faliraki??

If you have booked a hotel on the beach in Faliraki, it is best to come to the island of Rhodes sometime between July and September – because it is the warmest here. In July, the thermometer can climb above the 30-degree mark one time or another.

There is most precipitation in December and January, when it is coldest. In January the average temperature is just 15 degrees. If you want to conquer the beach in Falikari with the children, the best time to book your vacation is between March and November, then you can spend a wonderful time here.
