Veneers & Inlays
Nowadays, ceramic veneers – so-called VENEERS (ceramic shells) – are used for individual teeth in the anterior region. A veneer is as thin as a contact lens and very robust! If possible, we also work with hand-coated NON-PREP-VENEERS. They protect the existing tooth substance optimally. They are used for this purpose:
- Tooth embellishment by means of tooth extension
- Small position corrections of crooked teeth
- Compensation of different tooth sizes – e.g. for tenon teeth
- Close small tooth gaps
- Solution or alternative for gum recession
- Discoloured teeth, for example in the case of congenital or acquired enamel defects or discolourations caused by medication, etc.
Smaller defects are therefore treated minimally invasively with the smallest plastic fillings or veneers by your dentist. We always take care to preserve the existing tooth substance as much as possible. If the defects are larger or if aesthetic corrections are required, there are all-ceramic possibilities:
- plastic fillings
- Ceramic facing bowls – VENEERS (also known as facets or lumineers)
- Ceramic inlays and all-ceramic dentures (partial crowns / crowns) from the specialists for dental aesthetics / tooth beautification at KU64
crowns or bridges for aesthetic teeth
For larger defects or occlusal surface reconstructions in the posterior region, your dentist will use all-ceramic inlays (inlays) or all-ceramic partial crowns or crowns.
This type of dental prosthesis is manufactured in our SMILE DESIGN laboratory from high-quality pressed ceramics of the highest quality and individually layered and painted according to your tooth colour and tooth shape. Your KU64 dentist is in close contact with your dental technician for the best possible result!

- a long shelf life
- a colour of your choice without discolouration
- a chameleon effect, which ensures that the ceramics adapt perfectly to their existing tooth shade.
For patients who are in a hurry or who are only in Berlin for one day, KU64 offers the CEREC procedure for the fabrication of ceramic veneers, inlays or partial crowns.
The ground tooth is digitally scanned and the data is transmitted to the milling unit, which then works the inlay out of a ceramic block with the highest precision.
Brilliantly white teeth thanks to professional tooth whitening
If your aim is to get white teeth, our bleaching specialists are also at your disposal. In the so-called In Office Bleaching (tooth whitening) the teeth are whitened on site. Even dead teeth with a grey discolouration can be optically adapted to the neighbouring teeth. This is particularly recommended before a ceramic restoration. Home bleaching can be used at home as a supportive treatment. It should be noted that white teeth and a bright smile are also decisively influenced by your diet and proper dental care. In addition to the teeth whitening kit for home use, you will therefore also receive valuable tips that go far beyond the selection of the right toothbrush and toothpaste, so that your newly acquired white teeth remain white for as long as possible.
