Volunteering on the mountain

If the most beautiful job in the world – the mountains – is enough remuneration, you can consider volunteering on the mountain. We show you where and in what form you can get involved.

1. School of the Alm

The initiative "Schule der Alm" is committed to protecting the cultural heritage and smallholder farms in the Tyrolean Valsertal – and is always looking for helping hands.

2. Alpine forest projects of the Alpine Club

Build fences, secure paths, clean alpine pastures, support mountain farmers. With the mountain forest projects of the PES, everyone can make a voluntary contribution to the environment.

3. Environmental construction sites of the Alpine Club youth

Plant trees, green erosion sites and help mountain farmers. The AV-Jugend’s environmental construction sites are aimed at people between the ages of 16 and 30 – board and lodging are free.
