Action in the four-country corner

The Altmark presents itself at the intersection of Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. Not only water, forest and meadows, but also heath are full for the "ALTE MARK". Let your mind wander, scour oak forests, discover old windmills, cycle along the Elbe or go on extensive paddle tours. The choice is great.

Our newly added accommodation is located directly on the lake. Nature-related project days, a wide range of sports opportunities and above all the nearby Arendsee make the holiday complex particularly attractive. You can relax on the beach and play beach volleyball and explore the Wendeland “Rundlinge” nearby by bike. On request, we can organize a trip with the Mississippi paddle steamer for you.

Gate to the World

Hamburg – the high north. The cosmopolitan Hanseatic city awaits with elegant facades, a shrill to sloping neighborhood on St. Pauli and the largest seaport in Germany. A tour of the harbor through the unique facilities of the warehouse district and a visit to the legendary Hamburg fish market followed by a stroll at the jetties are an absolute must. The typical Hamburg flair can be felt in Övelgönne, where the old fishing and captain’s houses line up along the Elbe promenade.

Our tip: combine your stay with a musical visit! We are happy to take on ticket reservations!

World city with a heart

Against the backdrop of the pale blue Alps, Munich shows its towering, golden yellow city panorama. The Bavarian capital greets you with its baroque splendor and many tranquil squares. From chic to idyllic, this is the best way to describe the city with its very own attitude to life. The afternoons are spent relaxing on the meadows of the English Garden or under shady trees in one of the famous beer gardens – the epitome of the Bavarian way of life. Munich attracts with many art collections worth seeing and is also an ideal starting point for excursions into the fantastic Alpine world or to Bavaria’s fairytale castles. Nightlife is raging in the "Kunstpark Ost", Germany’s largest party zone. Here, night owls from techno clubs to night cafés, concerts and cabaret will find everything their hearts desire.

Active in the forest sea

Be active, have fun and explore deep forests and mysterious rock formations on long hikes. One of the longest cable cars takes you directly to the Ochsenkopf (1024 m). From here do you have a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Fichtelgebirge, the watershed of Europe. From the climatic health resort of Oberwarmensteinbach you can hike the sources of four well-known rivers that flow in all directions. Glass blowers and old silver mines testify to the long handicraft traditions in this region. Bayreuth with its museums and cultural temples is definitely worth a trip. The fashionable Czech Marienbad, where the high society of the turn of the century was on vacation or for a cure, can be reached quickly from here. Winter sports enthusiasts get their money’s worth in the snow-sure region.

When the smoker with the gingerbread woman …

Mining has shaped the Ore Mountains for over 500 years and gave the region not only its name, but also prosperity and many living handicraft traditions. The nutcrackers carved out of wood with their powerful mouths, lace making and the miners’ costumes are world famous. The deep forests with their high fir trees are best explored by hiking in summer and tobogganing or skiing in winter. If you visit one of the numerous show mines, you may not only find a lump of silver, but also find out where the blue color of the Meissen porcelain came from.

The children’s and youth recreation center is located directly on the banks of the mountain lake "Filzteich". Here you can relax on the beach or refresh yourself in the clear water.

Water in the forest

Colorful festivals with wonderful traditional costumes and lived customs: the Spreewald is one of the most fascinating landscapes in Germany and very close to Berlin. Countless canals and natural branches of the Spree run through an unspoilt landscape. You should let an experienced ferryman show you the real Spreewald! Lübbenau lies in the middle of this landscape and is an ideal starting point for the famous boat trips through the Spreewald. In addition to their Sorbian language, the Spree Forest also maintain a special cuisine. Everyone should have tried Spreewald cucumber or linseed oil with curd cheese. You can get an unforgettable glimpse into the past in the Lehde open-air museum.

The sunny side of Germany

The Black Forest shapes the image of Germany all over the world and not without reason. Anyone who knows this region full of character comes back again and again. Dark fir forests, deep gorges and rushing torrents, as well as ancient wooden farms and residents who are proud of their traditions. The clichés of cherry pie and ham are known worldwide.

But the Black Forest is much more: here is definitely the sunniest and warmest region in Germany. Total winter enjoyment is guaranteed by snow-sure areas, frozen mountain lakes and groomed trails. An attractive active holiday is guaranteed in summer and winter. When you visit the Europapark Rust you will find pure action. Cultural highlights include trips to Freiburg or Strasbourg, the seat of the European Parliament.

Fresh breeze, wide dunes, open sea

The northernmost German island fascinates with its unique, original beauty. To this day, the forces of nature change the course of the coast. Fine sandy, seemingly endless beaches stretch between List and Hörnum over almost 40 km in length. The island is only 800 m wide at its narrowest point. Grassy dunes change into low heathlands, which you can hike on foot or by bike. On the mainland side there is the bewitching silence of the Wadden Sea Nature Park. Mudflat hikes, horse riding excursions and natural history tours show you all the beauty of this landscape.

We offer various accommodations near the beach on Sylt. We recommend early reservations for this destination.

Maritime stories

Maybe you already have a breeze of fresh sea air in your nose when we invite you to the Baltic Sea coast of the Bay of Kiel. Countless, historically significant mansions and castles characterize the surrounding area. Screeching seagulls, the smell of smoked fish, incoming and outgoing cutters and a nature in its original beauty are free gifts. You live in Schönberg, a dreamy small town north of Lübeck. The beach is easy to reach by bus or on foot. In the hinterland, the graceful landscape of "Holstein Switzerland" extends and you will see that northern Germany is not just the "flat country". If you fancy "city", the state capital Kiel is also not far away.

Sea from all sides

Miles of fine-grained sandy beaches, the wind-blown Cape Arkona, the widely visible chalk cliffs and the extensive forests and bogs on the Stubbenkammer, all of this is the largest and most beautiful island in Germany. The traditional seaside resorts of Binz and Göhren shine in a new guise. The royal residence city of Putbus is adorned with remarkable city villas round around the grounds of the "Circus". The wonderful parks are not only worth it because of the wide lake view. The holiday complex is located in Wiek, directly on the Wieker Bodden. It is a good starting point for excursions in the northern part of Rügen.

Holidays from eel to Zeese

The Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park is rich in diverse natural beauties. Bicycle tours, beach walks and water games promise relaxing and varied holidays. The spacious holiday park lies on the narrow headland between Bodtstedter Bodden and Barther Strom and borders directly on the national park. The extensive grounds offer leisure opportunities for all ages. The beach on the bay is only 5 minutes away from the property. We recommend a bike tour to the Baltic Sea beach to Ahrenshoop or Zingst.

Sea or mudflats?

The wild sea and the play of the tides invite you to an active and relaxing stay in the land of wide views. The unique natural landscape provides you with an encounter with the original. The Wadden Sea, the North Frisian Islands, tiny Halligen, green dikes and miles of sandy beaches are part of the coast like ebb and flow. The Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea received national park status 13 years ago. You live directly behind the sea dike in Friedrichskoog. The traditional holiday farm is about 3 km from the guarded bathing beach. Here you can swim, watt run or take a bike tour along the dike. At the harbor you should buy fresh crabs early in the morning and diligently practice the "crab spooling" on a cutter trip.

The human being is as broad as it is demanding, to which the work of the German Hygiene Museum is dedicated. A seemingly very general topic, but which is made concrete in the exhibitions and events in a surprising and convincing manner.

The foundation of the German Hygiene Museum (1912) goes back to an initiative by the Dresden Odol manufacturer Karl August Lingner (1861-1916). In 1930 the building, designed by Wilhelm Kreis (1873-1955), was moved into the museum still has its seat today. The greatest attraction of the exhibition at that time was the Transparent Man, in which the modern image of man materialized in the future-believing combination of science, transparency and rationality.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are a paradise for hikers, nature and climbing enthusiasts. Anyone who has been here has been able to convince themselves of it and must have already observed it: climbers at dizzying heights!
A few years have passed since the free climbing was invented here in our country. In order to protect nature, especially the rock, climbing rules were created even then, the basic principles of which still apply today. We only climb without special aids such as magnesia, crampons, pimples or the like. Only the natural rock surface may be used to get around the ascent.

Night skating takes place on Fridays from April to October.
We then drive one of eight ingenious routes through the city of Dresden. The routes are between 14 and 20 km long and pass many sights. The journey time is about two hours. The start and finish is the half pipe. The route is secured by 40 folders. A mobile police escort will block the traffic and paramedics will accompany you.

Even “August the Strong” knocks it off the plinth

A pub crawl through Dresden at night – off the beaten path, a colorful, sometimes shrill pub scene has developed in Dresden Neustadt. So how about a night train through Dresden’s Neustadt? If the lights go out elsewhere, you can really go crazy here. Countless quaint and noble pubs, cafes and beer gardens make for an unusual evening.

(maximum 20 people, appointments daily on request)

Furthermore, the Karl May Museum shows about 850 attractive museum objects from the life and culture of the North American Indians from its collection, which is unique in Europe.

In ELBAMARE, designed as an adventure pool for the whole family, guests are offered a wealth of attractions: adventure pool with island, hot whirlpool, flow gyroscope, water cannon, massage jets and more. v. m. The outdoor pool, which can be reached via the swim channel, is another attraction with massage jets and whirlpool beds. For the little ones there is a children’s pool with a slide and gargoyle, and a changing area next to it.

The 80m long giant slide is not only in high demand among children. With varied curves and jumps, exciting sliding fun is guaranteed. Bathers can swim their laps in peace in the sports pool. Swimming lessons are also possible here. Relaxation is provided by the tropical sunbathing garden, which, like the entire bathroom, provides the tropical ambience with lush vegetation.

The physical well-being was also considered. A restaurant offers everything for big and small hunger. The entire facility is designed for the disabled.

youth travel & Holiday camp in Berlin

The trolley is probably the most curious means of transportation through the Berlin area. With muscle power it goes on disused tracks through Brandenburg villages and forests.

Since our capital lacks climbing rocks, there is Europe’s largest climbing hall here – fun on more than 2000 m² of climbing space.

A journey into the picture book of earth’s history: in the old limestone open-cast mine you can discover petrified animals at every turn. For technology freaks there are 200 year old conveyor systems to explore.
With a bike rented on site there is even more fun!

Queen of the Danube

An exciting wind is blowing in the streets of Budapest and every corner contains something new. The best way to see the city’s bridges is from the Citadel of the Gellertberg. Whether a journey into the mysterious past, a stroll through the student and cellar clubs of the city or relaxation on Margaret Island, Budapest is exciting, classic or entertaining.

Experience the reflecting surface of the Danube in the evening – behind it the flashing lights of the “Pest” district – and you will never forget this view. Your day trip takes you to the beautiful Danube Bend in Esztergom, to Visegrad Castle and to the artist colony of Szentendre.

On request, a day trip to magical Vienna is also possible.

No. 1 in the Mediterranean

The holiday paradise captivates with its charming contrasts: rough cliffs and mountain landscapes in the northwest, steppe-like plains in the interior of the island and long sandy beaches in the southeast. Azure sea and a colorful Mediterranean flora complete the summer painting. Mallorca is a tip for the whole year, thanks to the mild, balanced climate, the island is a worthwhile destination in every season. The leisure offer convinces with absolute superlatives: safari park, aqua park, mountain railway and of course every conceivable sport. Palma de Mallorca, the island’s capital with international flair, is rich in sights. A picturesque old town, the impressive cathedral (13th / 14th century) and the magnificent Bellver Castle bear witness to an important past. In the evening, life pulsates along the 20 km long bay in the countless bodegas, bars and clubs.

Europe’s "first lady"

The European capital surprises with an incredible variety and international flair. As the headquarters of the European Union and NATO headquarters, the captivating metropolis has a worldwide connecting function. Brussels also forms a cultural bridge between tradition and the avant-garde. With numerous renowned museums and the comic strip center of pop culture, Brussels is a real treasure trove of the arts. Historic places like the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful market places in the world, are next to technical superlatives like the Atomium. The iron molecule, which is 165 billion times larger, is considered the symbol of the city.

A must is a side trip to one of the high-tech theme parks in the area. We recommend the "Sixflags" mega park. Here you can try out seven different roller coasters and then relax in the bathing paradise.

London a gogo

Swinging beat and a colorful spirit – London’s youth culture ensures an explosive pulse. Hardly anyone can escape the flair of tradition and postmodernity. There is a lot to discover in the center of the British Empire: world-famous monuments such as the Tower of London or Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circus, the ultra-modern construction of the "Llord’s Building" and Docklands to name just a few. Total “In” is a stroll through the lively street markets and shopping in High Street Kensington and Oxford Street. After visiting Windsor Castle, the current residence of the Royal Family, unforgettable impressions remain.

Our tip: With the Visitor Travel Card you can use the entire public transport network within London. The inexpensive 3-day ticket can be booked with us.

The Eternal City

Hot espressos, cool drinks and a lot of "dolce vita" in eternally young Rome. Here you can find world-famous ancient monuments, winding alleys, sunny piazza and a Mediterranean rhythm. The unique juxtaposition of the eras brings history to life. The Colosseum (AD 70) and a visit to the Vatican with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica (1506) are a must. The main focus is on architecture, art, literature, religion and history. The light, Italian way of life is best experienced when strolling on Via Veneto or with an espresso in one of the city’s numerous cafés. In the evening, when the square on the Spanish Steps overflows with young people, Rome unfolds its unmistakable flair. In between we recommend a relaxing bathing trip to the sea.

Can also be booked as a combo tour Rome / Florence on request.

Venice of the North

The former tsar metropolis enchants with Nordic flair and unique art treasures. The multitude of magnificent buildings form an impressive urban composition. A must is the collection of the Hermitage in the Winter Palace. An evening stroll on Nevsky Prospekt during the famous white nights of the summer months is also unforgettable. In the area, a trip to Pushkin is worthwhile. Here you will find the remarkable Catherine Palace and the extensive park areas of the former summer residence of the Tsar. A visit to the Finnish capital is also recommended. The trip leads along the remarkable archipelago, a forest and lake-rich landscape with countless offshore islands.

The comfortable flight arrival completes this vacation to a successful experience. Combined tours with the highlights of the Baltic States are also possible on request.

Habsburg splendor & Gloria

Vienna presents itself as unreal as a film set. World-famous composers such as Haydn or Mozart laid their most beautiful melodies at the city’s feet.

Discover Vienna while strolling in the imperial footsteps of Sissi and Maria Theresia! Try a “melange with whipped cream” in one of the city’s nostalgic coffee houses.

Vienna is also up to date. Anyone who travels to Vienna today will experience a venerably charming city in a cultural awakening. It is not only the artist Hundertwasser who has set high-profile signs with his buildings. The newly created urban landscape with the converted gasometers is also worth a detour. Between the artist and cultural scene, chic and the oriental-style bazaar atmosphere on the Naschmarkt, you can move on every floor.

Baltic impressions

This tour through the three Baltic States promises a journey of discovery through picture-perfect landscapes and traditional cities in a spirit of optimism. The capitals await you with their medieval town center, magnificent Art Nouveau buildings and lively boulevards. In contrast, you can discover peaceful, idyllic nature and huge landscape formations such as the unique Curonian Spit. Due to the combined arrival by ship, the holiday begins during the crossing. This tour is particularly rich in beautiful impressions. On request, we are happy to work out alternative tours.

In the land of wild cats, bears and wolves

The High Tatras are one of the most mysterious and beautiful high mountain regions in Europe. Rugged granite rocks rise to impressive heights up to 2,600 m. An flora and fauna has been preserved in the national park that is unparalleled in Europe. Lynxes and wildcats, bears and wolves, golden eagles and black grouses are just a few of the numerous animal species that have otherwise become very rare in Europe or have disappeared completely. You can experience mountain and summit hikes with unique views, visit the historic village of Zdiar and the city of Kezmarok, discover hidden caves, go wild river rides with the wooden raft or go on exciting climbing tours at waterfalls. Ski and snowboard equipment can be rented on site in winter.

The ideal starting point for your activities is a centrally located hotel in the ** to *** – star category in the Tatranska Lomnica area.
