If the days and the times are well-chosen being outdoors in Barcelona can turn into an unforgettable experience.

Tips to visit Park Güell

Obviously, the par excellence park in the Catalan capital must appear in this compilation. Gaudí recreated its own stamp of the Garden of Eden without putting aside its characteristic architectural style, that also echoes Hänsel and Gretel tale with two halls that evoke the chocolate’s house. Nature and architecture are joined in a beautiful conjunction of colours and shapes that include from ergonomic benches to the famous dragon of the grand staircase. Baja California Itinerary: How To Plan Your Trip

Spanning 760 miles south of the border with the United States, Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula is a land of contrasts. The dry, seemingly empty desert is home to lush fruit orchards, hidden oases, and mountain chains with deep canyons that are home to ancient petroglyphs.

Add incredible beaches and groves of tropical fruits, and you get a real paradise. Baja Camping Road Trip

Baja Road Trip

Baja Camping Road Trip

This is what you look like after 2 weeks of camping in Baja!

February 2010 – The President of Adventure Mexican Insurance spent 18 days driving the entire Baja Peninsula in order to provide our customers with the most current Baja road travel information and travel tips.

OK – So you want to drive to Baja – great!

I personally believe that all adventurous spirits should drive the entire Baja Peninsula at least one time in their lives. It is one of the last wild frontiers accessible by vehicle from the US, but every year a portion of the wildness fades due to land development and population growth throughout Baja. So don’t put off your plans for too many years! In fact right now – 2010 – is a great year to make the trek because tourist road travel is very low due to the slumping economy and reports of drug gang violence in Mexico. Even though there have not been any murders of US tourists in Baja in recent years, and very few crimes perpetrated against US tourists (no more than any other years), the hype has people scared. So for people who can see through the hype, 2010 is a great year to have Baja all to yourself! I was able to pick the best waterfront camping spots at all of the campgrounds, and I only had to share a panga with 3 other people while whale watching in Guerrero Negro – more whale petting for me! read more
