What exactly is the JoinMyTrip travel insurance??
We offer two types of insurance. The insurance chosen depends on the location of the trip, but both offer the same coverage. The insurance is automatically included when you book a trip, and each trip is covered from start to finish when the insured trip officially ends.

What does the JoinMyTrip travel insurance include??
Trip interruption service
Insurance coverage in case you need to extend your stay due to unexpected serious illness or accident (incl. COVID-19); or if you interrupt your trip due to pregnancy, death of a person at risk, compulsory redundancy, etc. you have to interrupt.
- Travel interruption due to natural disasters (accommodation, meals and return trip)
- Additional costs for onward/return travel if public transportation is delayed more than 2 hours
- Additional costs for making up an outward and return journey after travel interruption due to an insured event
Travel assistance
The insurance helps you to organize your return trip in case of unexpected serious illness, serious accidental injury or sudden death.
Travel medical insurance
The cost of necessary medical treatment abroad, including treatment due to an epidemic or pandemic-like disease (incl. COVID-19). This includes any injuries or illnesses during the return trip.
