Yorkshire Dales Bushcraft

Yorkshire Dales Bushcraft

The founder of Yorkshire Dales Bushcraft, Jonathon Stodart, has 20 years worth of expertise in bushcraft and survivalism. He’s travelled all around the world, learning from indigenous tribes and honing his craft. His aim? To inspire people to go back to nature – and that’s exactly what you’ll do. With various base camps across Yorkshire, they create epic outdoors experiences for all ages.

For the grown-ups, there are one-day or full weekend courses and even 4-day coastal survival expeditions – no experience necessary. Why not take your family on a full-blown camping immersion? You’ll learn a range of basic and advanced bushcraft skills, from lighting a campfire to primitive cooking. After all that hard work, you can sit back and relax in a hammock in their relaxation zone. Come evening, you’ll enjoy a hot meal cooked over the campfire, toast marshmallows and guzzle down a hot chocolate around the fire. Pure bliss.
