Half-Day Millerton Lake Tour – Fresno

Half-Day Millerton Lake Tour – Fresno

I’m inviting to you my personal QUICK get-away! Millerton Lake is a quick break for us locals here in Fresno. It’s located within Fresno County just 15 minutes north of Fresno. It’s in the city of Friant, California but still in Fresno County. View the place where Fresno County began in a former town called Millerton which is now a man-made state recreation lake. . . Millerton Lake! It covers the former town where Fresno County’s first county seat was. This tour also gives visitors a lovely view of the Friant Dam. Take photos with my help, hear the history of the lake and enjoy nature. Millerton has a breathtaking walking trail, good for beginners yet thrilling enough for the expert as it gives you a constant view of the lake. After the historic commentary is given and photos are taken, I can assist you and point you in the direction of getting started on the hike if you desire. I have experience with Millerton’s trail and there is always a park ranger at Millerton for safety. Cell phones are usable.
