I am Benjamin, your local tour guide and driver.

It’s being great being the first local guide who started operations for ToursByLocals in El Salvador back in 2014 My 12 years experience as a tour guide in El Salvador, and other important destinations like Copan in Honduras, Antigua Guatemala, Chichicastenango and Atitlan lake in Guatemala allows me to understand and prepare itineraries for different types of travelers who choose El Salvador as their next travel destination.
El Salvador is a compact country with a good road network which enables rapid and effective travel to almost any tourist destination desired. A visit to its beautiful volcanoes, mountains, beaches, towns and people are just around the corner. Known as the friendliest country in Central America, El Salvador is a country small in territory but big on smiles and friendship.
Explore La Ruta de Las Flores with its beautiful villages, colorful murals and good coffee for discriminating tastes. Or if adventure travel is your destination, El Imposible and Los Volcanes National Parks with rainforests and towering volcanoes will be perfect. For those seeking local cultural experiences, travel through the charming town of Suchitoto, the cultural capital of the country, and to Perquin in Morazan with its Museum of the Revolution. If a secluded beach vacation is your goal, visit the Gulfo de Fonseca west with its beautiful islands and beaches that invite you to enjoy a dip in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.
