Quick Guide: 3 Days in Split, Croatia

Quick Guide: 3 Days in Split, Croatia

Book a Divota Apartment & spend the day walking around or going to the beach in Split

In the style of traditional Dalmatian homes, Divota Apartments take a modern approach to combining hospitality, design, and tradition.

Take advantage of the home-front experience while being just steps away from the old city. Divota offers complimentary breakfast (healthy too!) and fee-based spa services for all guests. Once you’ve checked in and gawked at how awesome your new Split apartment is, take a scenic 30-minute walk through the promenade to the one of the many nearby beaches (like Bacvice) and enjoy your first day in Split, Croatia.

Day 2:

Take a Sugaman boat trip – drink & dine on the water.

Take an island-hopping day trip with Sugaman day tours to explore a Dalmatian Blue and Green Cave, and visit the island Hvar.

Equipped with safety gear, snorkeling gear, and swimming supply goodness, the Sugaman speed boats will bring you to caves that glow beneath you, sea with such a high salt content that you can float with ease, and a famous historic town (Hvar) to adore and photograph on your own.

After your Sugaman tour you will be absolutely exhausted. It is truly a full day excursion and worth every penny!

Freshen up back at your Divota abode and get ready for dinner at Chops Grill. It’s one of Split’s top 10 restaurants and absolutely drool-worthy. Located in the center of the city, and walking distance from Divota, we were seated outside in a gazebo-styled setting (with option to dine inside). As I looked around me, I saw every table filled with faces that read: extreme culinary satisfaction.

I was confident I made the right choice picking this spot.

Check out some photos of our meals below. From a delicious carpaccio dressed with grana padana cheese and topped with homemade olive oil, to exquisite signature steak accompanied by Croatian wine and chocolate soufflé dessert – Chops Grill is a must-eat.

Did I mention when I got cold from the evening breeze, the host didn’t hesitate in bringing me a blanket cover up? #Blessed.

PS. Make sure you get a reservation — walk ins were unsuccessful during my visit.
