Syria Tours for 2022

Syria tours

VISA FOR SYRIA – In order to get a valid visa for traveling to Syria, you must first obtain a security clearance. We can easily get it for you and with our help, you won’t need to visit the embassy. Note that US passport holders can’t join our Syria tours because currently, visas are not issued for them (May 2022).

What type of Syria tour packages do we offer?

1 – EXPEDITIONS with a tour leader (7 nights, 8 days)

Essentially, our EXPEDITIONS are group trips typically composed of 12-13 people, always led by a tour leader, either myself (Joan Torres) or someone from my team, besides a Syrian tour guide and his/her local assistant.

Our EXPEDITIONS are ideal for:

  • Travelers on a lower budget – Cheaper than going with a smaller group + also include lunch.
  • Travelers who want to have fun – The more the merrier, since we tend to create outstanding travel families and organize evening activities.
  • Travelers looking for the best quality and service – Expeditions will always be accompained by a tour leader whose job is to make sure that the Syria tour flows as per Against the Compass brand equity.

Scheduled Syria EXPEDITIONS

  • July 1st – 8th (lead by Leti Lagarda)
  • September 1st – 8th (lead by Leti Lagarda)
  • September 30th – October 7th (lead by Joan Torres)

2 – Small group trips of 3 to 5 people (5 nights, 6 days)

We also schedule shorter Syria travel tours composed of smaller groups of 3 to 5 people max.

The main difference from EXPEDITIONS is that, in these small groups, you only travel with a local – and Against the Compass certified – Syrian guide, no tour leader, and no local assistant.

Our SMALL GROUP trips are ideal for:

  • Independent travelers. Technically, you will still be on a tour but since the group is small, plus there is no tour leader, you will have more freedom and time for yourself. Know that the local guide, however, is a trusted and certified guide by Against the Compass.
  • Travelers who can’t afford to go solo. These tours are obviously cheaper than if you were traveling solo.
  • Travelers with less time – The length of this trip is 6 days, instead of 8.

Scheduled Syria tours:

  • June 25th to 30th
  • July 26th to 31st
  • August 25th to 30st (in Spanish)
  • September 25th to 30th
  • October 26th to 31st
  • November 23rd to 28th
  • December 23rd to 28th
