The general admission fee for this great exhibition is around 32 €. However, there are several exceptions, discounts and things to consider.

When buying tickets online for any event or for one of the shows in Las Vegas, you will find that, in most cases, the prices are divided into categories. Depending on your category, you may or may not receive a discount on your ticket.

Are there guided tours of the Titanic Exhibition and is it worth it?

At the moment there are no guided tours of the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas and, in my personal opinion, they are not necessary either.

As you will notice on your visit, the tour experience is very well organised. Each object, model or representation is accompanied with the necessary information so that you can fully understand the Titanic’s history.

However, for those looking for a fully immersive experience, the organisers of the Titanic Exhibition offer an additional audio guide for a cost of just €5. You can ask for information from the person in charge of validating your access once you arrive at the exhibition.

How to get tickets for the Titanic Exhibition at the box office

Getting tickets for the Titanic Exhibition at the ticket office is very simple as this point of sale is located near the main entrance gate. Unless you are visiting the city during peak tourist months, the queues are generally not very long, although you will almost always have to wait a little while.

If you’re in town for a short trip, 3 days in Las Vegas or so, my recommendation is not to waste a single second and buy your tickets in advance, as in addition to saving you the queue, tickets on the website cost about the same as buying them at the box office.

Are tickets to the Titanic Exhibition included in any of the city’s sightseeing passes?

Yes, one of the most comprehensive passes in the city is The Vegas Sightseeing Pass which includes up to 80 attractions in the city, including the Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor Hotel.

The price of the Sightseeing Pass ranges from €100 for a standard 2-day Vegas pass to €230 for a 5-day Vegas pass. Children under the age of 12 can purchase passes at a reduced price.

Like so many other offers in the city, this product is really interesting and allows travellers to save money while exploring the city.

However, to really take advantage of the facilities offered by this type of product it is necessary to structure every aspect of the itinerary in detail and try to visit between 2 or 3 attractions each day. Otherwise, the money spent will not pay off.

How to get to the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas

The room where the Titanic Exhibition is presented in Las Vegas is located on the Atrium floor of the Luxor Hotel, one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in the city. It’s a good idea to have a mapof the hotel and its layout handy to help you find your way around.

Now, if you are outside the area known as Las Vegas Boulevard, you should know that you have different transportation options to get to the Luxor Hotel. Here are my favourites.

Sightseeing bus

The best way to get to know the city when you visit it for the first time is aboard the Las Vegas sightseeing bus. It has different routes that take visitors through the most iconic sights and monuments.

To get to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor Hotel and Casino using this means of transport, take the red line and get off at stop 8, named “Excalibur Hotel”.

Consider also purchasing the night bus pass to admire the marvellous lights of Las Vegas Boulevard at night – a breathtaking spectacle!

Public transport in the city

The public bus service in the city of Las Vegas is excellent , inexpensive and very punctual. If you need to travel long distances, such as to the Fremont area, don’t hesitate for a second!

To get to the Luxor Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, you have the following bus routes.

  • Routes:Bus 119; Bus 201 and Bus CX.
  • Stops: The “Nb Las Vegas at Mgm/Showcase Mall” stop is a 6-minute walk away; the “Sb Las Vegas at Luxor” stop is an 8-minute walk away and the “Wb Tropicana” stop is a 10-minute walk away.

Taking a taxi in Las Vegas.

Another transport alternative that works very well in the city is the taxi service. Organised, friendly and extremely helpful, you can always ask the driver for recommendations.

However, there’s no denying that taxis in this city are expensive, so if you’re on a budget consider exploring other alternatives.

Is it advisable to go to the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas with children?

On whether to attend the Titanic exhibition with children, the answer is: it depends. While it’s true that the exhibition is awe-inspiring and interesting, it’s also true that younger children may not understand the scope and relevance of this historic event.

Also, all the texts are in English and if your child is very young or doesn’t know the language, it is very possible that he/she won’t really understand what he/she is seeing and will get bored.

If you are going to Las Vegas with children, it might be more convenient to go to other museums, such as the Natural History Museum, as it tends to be more interesting for them.

On the other side of the coin, take into consideration if your kids like museums and it is a family activity that you do together often. In this case they shouldn’t miss out!

There are interactive parts of the exhibition that children will certainly enjoy, as well as impressive models of the Titanic. Just remember that all descriptions are in English.

Top things you can’t miss at the Titanic Exhibit in Las Vegas

Recreation of the rooms| ©Justin Taylor

When visiting the Titanic Exhibit in Las Vegas be prepared not only for a collection of artefacts, but for a first class interactive experience.

The attraction is truly comprehensive and, as much as I love James Cameron’s film adaptation, the information you get during the tour doesn’t compare in the least.

Full-scale recreation of the sleeping quarters.

The creators of the Titanic experience recreated the ship’s sleeping quarters down to the smallest detail, from the spacious first class passenger quarters to the third class passenger quarters, where one bedroom could accommodate 4 crew members.

Cabin Simulation

Inside a cabin recreates what the 2223 crew members experienced that fateful night, with precise air temperature. There is also a giant piece of iceberg that gives you a very close idea of the agonising cold that the victims of the tragedy suffered that night.

The Big Piece

A gigantic piece of the Titanic’s deck is on display and is a favourite part of most visitors.

The reason is simple: no matter how and how many times you have imagined the ship in your mind, live it is much more impressive.

Closing of the exhibition.

When you arrive at the exhibition you are given a boarding pass with the name and details of a real passenger who was on the ship that night. At the end of the tour you will find a mural that gives precise information about the fate of each of the crew members. Did your crew member survive or die that night in the Atlantic?

How much time do you need to visit the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas?

Some objects found| ©i is e.

It is an extremely interesting exhibition, with many eye-catching objects to see and admire. I recommend my friends to set aside about two hours to go through each part of the exhibition and get fully involved in the experience.

Another excellent time-saving alternative is to combine your visit to the Titanic Exhibition with a visit to the Bodies Exhibition, an impressive exhibition about the human body and the impressive systems that make it up.

Real dissected and perfectly preserved bodies will teach you everything you need to know about anatomy and health. This exhibition is located in the same hotel as the Titanic Exhibition, so you can see both in one visit.

The Titanic exhibition is among the best museums in Las Vegas. It is open to the public from 11am and can be visited every day of the year, including weekends and national holidays.

However, the closing hours of the exhibition vary throughout the months. I recommend my travelling friends to check this information the week before their trip for more certainty.

During the summer months in Las Vegas the exhibition is generally open to the public until 20h, with the last entry allowed at 19h.

During the autumn months, specifically from September to November, the hours are reduced to 18h (last entry allowed at 17h).

In the winter months, the regular opening hours return to 20h, with last admission at 19h.

Tips for visiting the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas

Hoping you enjoy your visit to the Exhibition to the full, here are a few tips that I hope you will find useful.

Make the most of your visit to the Luxor

If you haven’t heard by now, The Luxor Hotel and Casino is one of the most luxurious and impressive facilities on Las Vegas Boulevard: an impressive building in the shape of an Egyptian pyramid with its own Sphinx on the main façade.

Take advantage of your visit to the exhibition to tour the Luxor’s social areas, including its luxurious casino, food court and central courtyards.

Pay attention to closing times

The last access to the exhibition is one hour before the seasonal closing time, but my recommendation is to allow an average of 2 hours to enjoy all parts of the museum.

It is very important to pay attention to the closing time each day and arrive in plenty of time, especially if you are in a remote area of the city.

Respect the rules

There are basic rules to follow in this exhibition which are not unlike other museums you may have visited before. Among them are the prohibition of smoking inside the room and that it is forbidden to enter with bulky bags, suitcases or large backpacks.

Finally, photography is permitted, but videotaping of the exhibition usually requires special permission. Photographs must be taken without flash in order to protect the integrity of the pieces and not to disturb other participants.
