Anim’Arte Nam Van
Nam Van is a small lake located in the southern Macau Peninsula. It is a newly developed lakeside leisure hub where you can engage in a vast array of recreational, artistic and sightseeing activities. You can explore the lake by reasonably-priced pedal boats. From the lake, you can sightsee the nearby skyscrapers such as Macau Tower.
For artistic activities, you can visit the Lakeside Gallery and “Macau Cultural and Creative Industries Shops” to appreciate the artwork by local artists. It is a good chance to meet the artistic side of Macau and maybe draw some inspirations! The IFT Café offers some homemade, hearty light refreshments, it’s nice to pop in to enjoy some snacks and coffee before continuing your journey.
Also, an outdoor craft market opens every Saturdays and Sundays. Local artists and handcrafters showcase their products and collaborate with each other. Many of their artwork are unique and you can’t find them anywhere else! It’s a good idea to pick some as gifts to yourself or souvenirs. Here is the perfect spot for you to unwind from the hustling downtown Macau and embrace the artistic vibe!

Macau Yat Yuen Canidrome Club
Greyhound racing is one of the icons of Macau. While the Canidrome Club is the only greyhound racing stadium in Asia. It is a unique experience for you to spend a night to watch greyhound racing and maybe place a bet to try your luck!

Hac Sa Beach (Black Sand Beach)
The beach is covered with black sand and is a getaway spot for the locals as there are BBQ sites, swimming pools, golf courses and a water sports centre. You can enjoy a relaxing afternoon here after some shopping in the downtown area. You can also dine in some cafes and restaurants which let you overlook the beach and sea view. For those who stay at hotels nearby, Hac Sa Beach is one of the best places to watch sunrises in Macau.
The nearby Hac Sa Reservoir Country Park is the perfect spot for ecotourists where they can enjoy canoeing, camping and hiking in the Park.

Guia Fortress, Guia Chapel and Lighthouse
Guia Fortress was built in 1622 and its lighthouse was built in 1865. The Guia lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse that is still operating. The Fortress locates up on a small hill, so although it situates at the heart of Macau Peninsula, you will feel isolated from the hustling city down the hill.

The Guia Chapel was established by Clarist nuns who once lived here. Nowadays, inside the Chapel, you can find an array of frescoes that were inspired from religious stories and myths. These frescoes showcase Macau’s hybrid of cultures with various east-meet-west characteristics which make the Chapel a must-go Macau attraction for art lovers.
