Sitting in any one spot for too long a time without any distractions can be difficult. Any number of factors can make the shortest of trips into the most incredible of bores. And any small inconvenience can sometimes set your mood so low that no matter what happens, you will not enjoy your ride. How can we fix this? Well, I have a few tips and tricks that I’ve come up with in my days as a seasoned bus traveler that can ensure you have the very best trip possible.
1. Get there early.
Check in is the most difficult part of any bus trip. It’s like herding cats; mostly a futile exercise exacerbated by people not being entirely clear what is going on. No matter what, this is a process that is going to probably take a little longer than you might expect. How best to mitigate this delay? Get there early. If you get seated on your bus early, that’s less time spent in line and more time spent choosing the seat you want to sit in. Simply put, if you get on the bus faster, the bus is more likely to leave on time. Make sure you be a good citizen and do your part there .
2. Pack some snacks.
You’re going to get hungry on the bus. Even if you just ate a full meal minutes before getting on, there’s inevitably going to come a time where you get a little hungry. Lucky Star buses only stop at the designated stops, so you will be on the bus for a while. Make sure you have provisions to get you there without bowling over in hunger. Leave the hangriness at home and everyone will thank you.

You know what I love? Movies. Movies have the ability to transport you somewhere else completely for the duration of their run time.
