Some big-name headliners are performing in Las Vegas in 2019, including a trio of high-profile superstar divas for first residencies. Janet Jackson takes over from the 27. May the Park Theater at Park MGM for "Metamorphosis". Their career-spanning show is thought-provoking and deeply personal.

Christina Aguilera is scheduled to perform on 31. May "The Xperience" debut at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.

Just off the Strip, Cardi B is coming to the Palms this spring. The Invasion of Privacy artist will premiere at KAOS nightclub alongside the latest technology, including a 360-degree rotating booth. Everything is designed to improve the live performance.

Vegas is happy to welcome back a few familiar faces. Pitbull returns to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood to continue his show "Time of our Lives".

After taking some time away from Vegas for a world tour, Bruno Mars is back at the Park Theater at Park MGM. The "Uptown Funk" singer will perform in April, May and September.

Right after a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction this year, Def Leppard will return to Las Vegas for his second series of shows. This time the British band plays at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. This makes her the first hard rock headliner to play here.

While her previous run included the Hysteria album in its entirety, "Def Leppard Hits Las Vegas: The Sin City Residency" was meant to be a more comprehensive setlist of the band's entire career.

Lady Gaga opened her "Enigma" show in late 2018 and is expected to remain a hot ticket at the Park Theatre throughout the year. The singer and actress is riding a wave of momentum from her starring role in "A Star is Born" and the smash hit "Shallow".

The venue also welcomes "Deuces are Wild", Aerosmith's first Las Vegas show with 18 performances between April and July.

The Park Theater planned to host Britney Spears' return to Las Vegas this year. But that fell through because her father has health problems. The "Domination" show could be pushed back to late 2019 or 2020.

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will revisit his Las Vegas roots with the opening of his comedy club at LINQ Outdoor Promenade. The two-story building can accommodate up to 300 people. Kimmel is expected to play a hands-on role in headliner selection there.

On the other hand, at least one big name will be closing out a long-running show in 2019. After eight years Celine Dion will perform her last shows in June in the Colosseum of Caesars Palace.

Donny & Marie also say goodbye. The Osmond sibling duo will play their final dates at the Flamingo in November, closing out a nine-year run.
