Tour Itinerary

Your tour representative from our side will greet you at the airport who will assist you to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. The remainder of the day will be free for you to relax and spend some leisurely activities.

After breakfast, you will be made to head on towards railway station where you will be made to board the train heading towards Lucknow. The journey will be for 6 hours. Once you reach Lucknow our tour representative there will assist you towards your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast, in the morning you will be taken to the beautiful and sacred town of Sravasti which is located at a distance of 4 hours. Once you arrive in Sravasti you will immediately be checked in to your allotted hotel where you will be staying the night.

After the morning breakfast, you will be made to head on towards Sahet Mahet – the ruins of age-old stupas dedicated to Lord Buddha and finds its mention in numerous holy Buddhist texts. You will then be made to proceed towards Lumbini which is a located at a distance of 5 hours and 20 mines, while stopping en route for a visit to Kapilavastu which is situated at a distance of 4 hours and is the place where Buddha’s childhood was spent before his great renunciation at the age of 29.

At Lumbini, you will be immediately checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be taken to the spot where Lord Buddha was born. Later, you will be made to proceed towards Kushinagar (located at a distance of 4 hours) where you will visit some of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations which include: Nirvana mandir – the spot where Buddha had left his earthly abode and attained his Mahaparinirvana and Ramabhar stupa – the place of cremation of the Lord Buddha.

You will then be made to head towards your hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast you will be made to head on towards the capital of Bihar – Patna, which is located at a distance of 5 hours and 20 mines. On your way to Patna, you will be assisted for a sightseeing tour of the beautiful city of Vaishali – one of the most loved places of Lord Buddha. Upon your arrival in Patna, you will be immediately checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast your journey towards Bodhgaya will commence which will be a road trip of 4 hours. En route you will be made to visit one of the oldest universities in the world – Nalanda and Rajgir – which was Lord Buddha’s favorite retreat spot and the Vulture Hill was the place from where he gave numerous of his discourses.

Then you will proceed towards Bodhgaya – the place where Buddha had attained his enlightenment making it one of the prime centres of Buddhist pilgrimage. Upon arrival you will be immediately checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Your sightseeing day commence after your breakfast in the morning which will include places like the famous Buddhist pilgrimage site of Mahabodhi temple – home to the famous bodhi tree under which Buddha had attained his enlightenment. You will then be made to visit the famous Sujata temple which is located by the holy Niranjana River. After a full day of sightseeing tour you will be made to head back to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

After having a full breakfast meal you will be made to head onward towards Varanasi, which is located at a distance of 6 hours. After reaching Varanasi you will be checked in duly at your allotted hotel where you will be staying for the night.

Being one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India and probably the world, Varanasi is one of the most highly revered destinations for devout Hindus seeking their share of pure spirituality. Early in the morning before breakfast, you will be taken on a magnificent boat ride on the holy River Ganga. After the completion of your breakfast, you will be taken to the nearby Buddhist pilgrimage site of Sarnath – which is located at a distance of 10 kms from Varanasi, and is the exact place where Buddha gave his very first teaching on Dhamma and established the Buddhist Sangha. This is also the place where the famous chanting of ‘Buddham Saranam Gacchami’ came into existence. You will then be made to head back to your allotted hotel back in Varanasi for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will be made to transfer to the airport from where you will be made to board the flight headed towards Kathmandu which will be a journey of 1 hour. Upon arrival, our tour representative will assist you to the allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Your day will kick start with a hearty breakfast meal in the morning after which your entire day of sightseeing will commence. During the sightseeing tour you will be covering: Swayambhunath Stupa – the oldest Buddhist shrine; Pashupatinath mandir – which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the prime jyotirlingas. In the evening you will have the option of shopping for souvenirs like Pashmina, Thangka paintings, singing bowls, rice paper items and so much more. You can also gorge on some delicious local Nepali delicacies like – Yomari, samay baji, sel roti, chatamari, dhido.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be taken on an exploration of Kathmandu to some of the most famous shrines and sites here like: Boudhanath stupa which is one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal; holy Bagmati River and durbar square. In the evening you will be taken to witness the grand and religious Hindu rituals and ceremonies which take place on the banks of river Bagmati.

You will finally be made to head back to your allotted hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
