Camping with kids – How to make your vacation really relaxing
A camping vacation with your kids can be a really fun and relaxing way to spend your vacation. However, there are a few things you can do to make the vacation as stress-free as possible.
First try to choose a campsite that has many facilities such as breakfast service, showers, toilets and playgrounds. This way you don't have to spend so much time driving back and forth, and your children will have an easier time finding their way around.
Also, pack enough food to last you the first few days. This saves you the hassle of looking for a grocery store when you arrive at the campsite. This also gives your kids more time to explore the campsite and playgrounds and make their first friends.
You should also pack plenty of activities for the kids such as a badminton game, card games or other family games. Books should not be forgotten. We can help you a little bit with this point. When you pick up your RV or camper van, you and your kids can borrow something from our mini-library for the duration of your vacation. This service is of course free of charge for you.
What are the tips for a relaxing camping vacation with children?
Camping with kids can be a fun and relaxing experience if you follow some simple tips. Here are a few things to look out for:
- Choose a campsite that is family friendly
- Make sure that games, books, coloring books or toys are prepared and kids can easily access them
- Have snacks and drinks ready 🙂
- Make sure you have enough sunscreen, insect repellent and other things with you
- Plan ahead and pack anything you need that is not already included in our rental price, such as a special high chair for children
- Have fun 🙂
To help you have a great vacation with your kids, we have set up a small lending library in our office. For the duration of your vacation you can borrow books and games for you and the kids for free. We believe that camping with children can be really great if you keep a few simple things in mind and offer variety to the kids.
Which vehicles are suitable for a camping vacation with children?
Of course, it depends on how you want to travel, how big the kids are and how many of them there are.
Camper Van London
Our camper van London is suitable for a small family with a young child. The transversal bed in the back can sleep two adults and a baby. The vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX attachments to be able to attach a child seat.

Camper Van Paris
The Camper Van Paris can accommodate two adults and one child up to the age of ca. 10 to 12 years. In the rear area can comfortably accommodate two adults on the longitudinal beds. A cushion can be placed between the two beds to accommodate a child. There are also ISOFIX attachments in this vehicle for attaching a child seat.

Motorhome Rome
There's already room for a family of 5 in the Rome motorhome. In addition to the 5 approved seats, all of which have seatbelts, the Rome motorhome has two spacious beds in the back that can be transformed into a huge sleeping area with an intermediate mattress. Up to three people can sleep here. Above the seating area is an electric lift bed that can be lowered for the night and sleeps another two people. The motorhome Rome is equipped with two ISOFIX seats, so you can travel even with smaller children.

Motorhome Dublin
Similar to the Camper Van Rome, the Camper Van Dublin is also suitable for up to 5 people. Our camper van Dublin also has two longitudinal beds in the rear area, which can be extended with an intermediate piece to a huge sheep landscape for up to three people. Also here, above the dining area, there is an electric folding bed that can be lowered for the night and sleeps another two people. The motorhome Dublin is equipped with two ISOFIX seats, so you can also travel with smaller children.
