The Stadium Course is home to the annual Professional Golf Association Tours Phoenix Open. The green fairways contrast dramatically with the desert vegetation and breathtaking mountains. You can also book tee times at Sunridge Canyon, Wildfire or the more forgiving Kierland Golf Course.

Tennis

The hotel hosts a number of tennis championships, including the annual Franklin Templeton Men's Tennis Classic and the State Farm Women's Tennis Championship. There are seven courts, all of which are lit for night play.

There are many restaurants, each offering a special ambiance and cuisine. Marquesa, awarded AAA 5 Diamond and Mobil 4 Star, is the resort's restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine.

La Hacienda is North America's only AAA 4 Diamond and Mobil 4 Star Gourmet Mexican Restaurant. There is also a steak house, The Grill, featuring dry-aged beef, fresh fish and seafood. The resort's main dining room, Las Ventanas, offers American cuisine and is decorated in a Southwestern style with glass walls and tile floors.

Due to the high temperatures in summer, fall, winter and spring are the best times. The resort is located 32 km from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Cabs and rental cars are available at the airport.

Here's a great new luxury service to look forward to the next time you stay at a Fairmont hotel: The company announced that it will offer complimentary local shuttle service in BMW 750i sedans at all Fairmont properties in the U.S. The program was first tested in Canada and was very successful, hence the expansion to the United States.

Use this service to play golf at a nearby course, have dinner, or plan a shopping trip to a nearby city. This service is offered to members of the Fairmont President's Club.
