We all know it is important to travel – you discover new cultures, meet new people, learn about different lifestyles from your own. You discover that there is so much more to the world than your little corner of it. However, although reading a motivational piece of writing on the importance of traveling can inspire most people, for many of us, traveling to far-off countries is not as easy as grabbing your passport and being on the go.

If you have a passport that allows you to freely visit dozens of countries, then you are one of the lucky ones. However, for many others, visiting a foreign country often includes the tedious process of obtaining a visa beforehand.

Luckily, many countries offer visas that you can use to visit multiple other countries: multiple-country visas, in other words.

What Are the Multiple Country Visas?

Here are the visas that allow you to visit multiple other countries:

Countries you Can Visit With a Schengen Visa

Naturally, the first on this list is the Schengen Visa.

The Schengen Agreement includes 26 European countries which have abolished visa requirements and border control checks. As such, if you obtain a Schengen visa, you can travel between all the countries included in the Schengen Agreement.

However, many other non-EU countries have also entrusted the Schengen visa screening and will allow you entrance if you have a valid Schengen visa (ie. you still have valid days and entries left on your visa). The non-Schengen countries you can visit with a Schengen visa are:

Albania Croatia Montenegro
Antigua and Barbuda Cyprus* North Macedonia
Belarus Georgia Romania
Bosnia and Herzegovina Gibraltar Sao Tome and Principe
Bulgaria Kosovo Serbia
Colombia Mexico Turkey

*Cyprus is a member of the European Union, but it is not a Schengen Area country
