As the third largest city in Vorarlberg, Bregenz, with almost 30,000 inhabitants, is the capital of the Austrian state.
The special highlight is the geographical location: to the west it borders on Lake Constance and to the east on the Pfänder. The latter is the first mountain in the Alps and offers numerous winter sports and summer sports.

Transportation in Bregenz

On the one hand, the Pfänder tunnel serves to bypass the city, on the other hand there is a direct connection to the city tunnel. So you come easily to and from Bregenz, if you with the automobile on the way. However, as parking is free and chargeable, we recommend that you use public transport.

The Vorarlberg Lines In addition to event trips, in the main season you can also book course trips from the port of Bregenz. These run via Wasserburg, Nonnenhorn, Kressbronn, Langenargen, Friedrichshafen, Immenstaad, Hagnau, Meersburg to Constance and the island of Mainau.

Not only one, but even three train stations ensure you short walk from and to railway station. You can drive here in the direction of Bezau, Zurich, Munich, St. Gallen and Lindau.
