The transition from kindergarten to primary school is an important milestone in the life of every child

Every child goes through many different transitions in their lives. In order for these to be successful and stress-free for the child, close cooperation and linkage between the institutions involved is necessary.

One of these important transitions is the change from kindergarten to primary school. Children are looking forward to this new challenge. You finally want to read, write and learn to calculate and count among the "big ones".

Despite this joy and high motivation of the children, it should not be forgotten that the transition from kindergarten to primary school is a great challenge for the children and is associated with a lot of uncertainty.

The networking of the previous upbringing and educational offers between kindergarten and primary school plays a special role here. Accompanying the children in their development from kindergarten child to school child is an important, common task of day care centers and primary schools.

The cooperation between kindergarten and primary school was also enshrined in law
[Art. 15 of the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG) and in Art. 31 Bavarian Law on Education and Teaching (BayEUG)].

Taking responsibility together:

The guidelines are the first common orientation and reference framework for all non-family educational institutions that are responsible for children of this age, as well as for the institutions of education, training and further training that qualify the educational staff of these educational institutions.

Cooperation agreement for the cooperation between kindergarten and primary school

The collaboration between kindergarten and primary school has become an integral part and is characterized by a wealth of ideas in practical implementation.
In order to give the cooperation between the two institutions a more binding character, a cooperation agreement for the cooperation between kindergarten and primary schools in the city of Würzburg was formulated based on the cooperation agreement in the district of Lech, in the district of Hassberge and in the city of Aschaffenburg.
This is a calendar-based recommendation and is understood as an impulse and basis for your individual cooperation discussions. It can of course be supplemented by further ideas and actions, as well as adapted to your special needs on site.
With this recommendation, it is possible to give the collaboration a more binding character, which is regular for both kindergarten and primary school and security offers and still leaves space for individual solutions and agreements.
