Mon, Feb 24 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | "Draw like Norman Thelwell" | For 6 to 10 year olds
In this workshop, the excellent British cartoonist Norman Thelwell will inspire us to exhaust the technical possibilities of fineliner, pen, pen and pencil. When looking at it its ingenious sketches will make even the last muffle of desire to draw them out or to design their own funny cartoons. It is clear that the fun is not neglected and the drawing skills of the course participants will make a significant leap. Course fee: 60 € (including material and lunch) Registration form download

Tue, February 25 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | "Exhibition visit & Atelier: the threads of modernity
– Matisse, Picasso, Miró… and the French tapestries ” | For 6 to 10 year olds
Cooperation with the Kunsthalle Munich | Meeting point and pick-up at the children’s art house
Equipped with a sketchbook and pencil, we look at tapestries of various styles staged in the art gallery. Afterwards, we reinterpret the weaving mills of well-known artists such as Sonia Delaunay or Joan Miró in the form of paper works in our workshop. The focus is on clear lines, geometric shapes and minimalism. At the end of the workshop, all participants will receive their own wooden picture frame with their favorite artwork.

Wed, Feb 26 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | "Layer by layer – we discover Daniel Man " | For 6 to 10 year olds
Inspired by what we think is the fabulous work of art "A jump into the void", which has adorned the entrance area of the children’s art house since October 2019, we will deal with the work and stylistic means of the Munich artist Daniel Man in this workshop. First we will study the original and get to know all the special features that the picture offers. Daniel Man’s work of art is also characterized by the fact that its levels can be rearranged at any time. We too will create multi-layered works of art that each participant can take home with them in their own object frame.

Thu + Fri, February 27/28 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | "Augmenting Reality " | For 10 to 12 year olds
Two-day workshop
One or the other knows "Augmented Reality" – at least since the game hype about Pokémon Go. In this two-day vacation workshop, you can not only get to know and try out the augmented reality, but also design it yourself. We work with a crossover of digital and analogue techniques such as collage, painting and drawing techniques, photography, typography and illustration. You can get the basics from Adobe Photoshop and the AR software studio.hpreveal.com. For children from 6 years old together with an adult once a Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Getting creative in a relaxed atmosphere for two and experimenting with the versatile material clay – that is the focus of this workshop. More information here
