The “changeover on electric cars only exists in lala-political-dreamland. What the automakers did was to take the lavish subsidies for research on electric cars and use the money for their own research. Of course they continue to produce gasoline and diesel because electric cars are not competitive on any single criterion, not even if you use environmental impact as a yardstick. How deluded do you have to be to believe that a vehicle with 250 kilos of batteries on board would be in any way environmentally friendly?? Batteries have the property to lose massively power after shortest time. Already after one and a half years the range is even more limited than normal and after four five years so bad that you can exchange the 250 kilo batteries. Only ideologically blinded to the point of bullshit believe this has anything to do with environmental protection.

i just imagine an a 380, a luxury cruise ship and especially the military equipment with electric motor. A leopard tank with battery trailer and 20 km battery range certainly solves all environmental problems.
But the car user will again solve all environmental problems, the politicians believe.
Already gas cars don’t work because i don’t feel like driving to the gas station everyday.
The diesel car easily creates ranges of over 1000 km and that’s enough for me for two to max three days. The refueling itself takes only a few minutes.
As an expert you have a different view on E-cars. I hope that already in 2020, the current political leaders are no longer in office and responsibility.
It would be very easy to show the politics the red card, said me recently a car salesman. All potential new car buyers should postpone their purchase for one year!
The E-car hinders research and the development of real future drive concepts.

Electric is fine, but who is going to pay for it and where am I going to charge my car?. My garage should not get a power connection say the operator because it is too expensive for him and if I should go to work by bus I would need with at least 1.5 hours by train? Since the railroad is shutting down all routes I would need even longer and I would still be late because I also still 15 min.
