I have no desire and usually no time to choose and repack my handbag according to outfit and occasion or use. For me, backpacks have been in the past
proven. And that’s how my favorite bag or backpack came about last year.

I loved this backpack because it met all of my needs. He was my daily companion in wind and weather, when shopping, on the way to work, when going out, just filled with the bare essentials or also packed after the market visit. to . until the zipper broke. schnief!

And since I was sooo happy with the good piece, I sewed the same one again.

Folded up, like in the photos, the backpack is hardly bulky. But if you don’t hang the carabiner, this bag is a real space saver! I already used this backpack to transport purchases – sometimes quickly after work. And since the base area is only approx. 23 cm by 13 cm large it also fits easily in the bicycle basket.

Usually you choose the outer fabric first and then the inner fabric. It was exactly the opposite with this project: I already had myself in the cotton fabric in autumn "bouffants & Broken Hearts" in love with Robert Kaufmann and didn’t know what to do with it.

And when a new backpack was needed, it was clear that this material would become the lining got to. For the outside I have synthetic leather in "between red gold and copper" selected. Both fabrics are from the Fingerhut fabric studio. As always, there is a small pocket for the access card for work and a strap on which all the keys hang so that I don’t have to look for them in the depths of the backpack.

The backpack has become a real hit. I don’t want to withhold the old, broken one, based on the same cut. The blue synthetic leather makes it look completely different.
