Born in Dortmund and former Waldorf teacher Diana Drechsler has been working as a freelance artist (storyteller, musician, clown) since 2000. As a narrator, Diana Drechsler impresses with her liveliness, she is known for captivating her audience, especially children from kindergarten age, with her enthusiastic storytelling with fairy tales full of magic and joie de vivre .

Diana Drechsler has an excellent talent for improvisation and likes to spontaneously involve the children in her stories. Her specialty is to tell her fairy tales with music;

to accompany with magical sounds, sensitive melodies and lively rhythms on partly exotic instruments such as lyre, sansula, psaltery, ocean drum, water drums, various flutes etc..

The audience, whether big or small, but also educators and teachers are always enthusiastic about the diverse programs and are impressed by how today’s children and young people can be captivated by the narrative music performances. In her “Winter Fairy Tale” program, the storyteller Diana Drechsler tells well-known and less well-known folk tales from different countries at winter time. Because especially in the cold season people liked to tell old stories by the stove.
