Pampers Initiative Germany becomes a children’s area

Germany is child-friendly?

Definitely not enough. I personally don’t have a lot of negative things to say, but my life as a mother started with a “Oh my God! You are pregnant! Are you serious?”To my boss, who was childless herself and only saw the children as a burden and the end of her career. Up until now, I was simply not aware that there are people who do not love children and that the decision to become a mother can be so rejected. This is a pity. While I accept that some people may choose not to have children, I also expect families with children to be seen as a valuable part of this society. And that is not always the case.

You tend to meet families with children little Tolerance, let alone respect. One knows the example of the mother with the screaming child at the supermarket checkout. She is often "rewarded" with angry looks and shaking her head, and only a few understand their situation. Not so long ago we were able to follow everyone on all social media channels about how “terrible” breastfeeding is in public and only parents know how relieving it is to find a high chair in a restaurant or someone carrying a stroller helped to the train tracks. And there are people like that too. Fortunately, understanding people are still in the majority. At least I have had the experience that it is so.

There are also those in Germany who have one mother hold the door open with the stroller, offer the space to a pregnant woman and make her restaurants and cafés child-friendly. And then there is also such a great initiative as Germany is going to Pampers Kinderland every month Projects in value of up to € 5,000 supports.

Children are wonderful. Children are our future and the best that humans can produce. That is why Pampers is committed to children and families. The initiative Germany is becoming a children’s area would like to stimulate social rethinking and also make it easier for families to make their everyday lives easier with the idea competition.

Anyone who has a project idea can register and if this is selected by the jury, the project will receive up to € 5,000 for its implementation. This could be, for example, a changing facility in a restaurant, the conversion of a playground, a ramp for the pram and much more. Everyone can participate with his idea. Every month anew.

If you have no idea, support the great Pampers Intitative with a click on the button. Or share it further so that more people can find out about it and get the opportunity to bring in their own ideas and make our children ‘s everyday life more beautiful and easier. You can do it here!
