To the museum with the whole family? In Berlin, this is not only feasible for those who earn well. In many museums, admission is free for everyone or free up to the age of 18. Almost all other museums that are interesting for adults as well as children offer family tickets, some also offer a “small family ticket” for single parents or mothers and fathers who travel alone with the children. The family tickets are always cheaper than the regular tickets, even with one child. In our overview you can see in which Berlin museums family tickets are available.
The Berliner FamilienPass, which costs 6 euros and is valid for one calendar year, is always worthwhile for Berlin families. Parents and children as well as grandparents and grandchildren receive discounts on admission, guided tours and family tickets not only in children’s theatres, cinemas, zoos and animal parks, swimming pools and at sporting events, but also in numerous Berlin museums. The FamilienPass is available in district libraries, citizen’s offices, various shops and also online.
