School club takes off in Thekla parsonage

Dear children and teenagers,

as you will have noticed, the free room will be renovated until the end of the year.

First you found into the premises of the GTA area and now finally our temporary shelter for the renovation period is fixed.

From 06.06.2017 the school club will take place on the beautiful grounds of the parsonage Thekla in Cleudner Str. 24.

There you can find us Monday to Friday from 13 to 18 pm and spend your free time with friends, play football or just hang out as usual. Which AGs you can visit and what’s going on during your holidays you’ll find soon on the school homepage.

Despite construction work in the free area, the offers of the school club naturally continue.

In March you can find us in the GTA room of the school. Of course, we will continue to offer you a wide variety of activities here, for example:

free farewell party

The free room is being renovated!

That’s why our free clinic has to close temporarily. But before that the Freizi-Team would like to celebrate a farewell party with you!

Look forward to a great party with delicious food and drinks, performance of the dance group, tombola and of course disco.

So everyone join the party.

That’s how school is fun! – Our open day

On Friday, 25.11.2016 it was time again. From 16.00 to 19.00 the gates of the Christian-Gottlob-Frege Oberschule Leipzig opened.

The visitors were amazed when they saw the various offers in every room of our school. Here you could do so many beautiful things: make jewellery, solve puzzles, win chess games, bake waffles, make poinsettias, discover a hidden world under the microscope, take part in the library review, iron creative pictures on fabrics with an iron, inform yourself about our annual trip to the heart of England, get to know our school club and our European project Yelp. The children of class 6 presented a foreign language programme for the open day. First there was an English canon “Father Christmas”, then the Russian children played the fairy tale of turnip rape, of course in Russian. There was also the opportunity to get to know the countries and languages of origin of our DAZ pupils. There were even culinary delicacies from Syria and Libya. But that wasn’t all, of course: At the cake bazaar future and former students met in the dining room for a cosy, pre-Christmas chat; during the open rehearsals one could catch a glimpse behind the scenes and take part in our theatre performance.

That’s how school is fun!

One thing was clear for our big and small guests to say goodbye: next year we will come again. And we are already looking forward to it.
