Ski holidays with children in Austria in Salzburgerland – Ski Amade

Ski holiday with children

A ski holiday with children requires careful planning and a well-chosen ski hotel at reasonable prices, preferably a ski hotel directly on the piste to avoid unnecessary stress when driving in winter. An important aspect of a ski holiday with children is also the right choice of ski resort and the question of discounts & promotions. Ski passes are now very expensive, so we offer special offers for families with children. Below you will find an overview of how you can best save money on your skiing holiday with children and get the best out of your winter holiday in Austria:

Ski holiday with children – family bonus

During your family holiday in the ski area Großarl-Dorfgastein in Ski Amade you pay for your ski holiday with children at the mountain railways maximum for 2 children – all winter long – so at all seasons! All other (own) children may ski free of charge on the ski swing Großarltal-Dorfgastein. So nothing stands in the way of inexpensive skiing fun with the whole family. The only requirement is that at least 1 parent buys a ski pass for the same period. Please show an official photo ID and a shared main residence at the closed ski pass purchase in our ski hotel or at the lift ticket office. This offer is valid for children up to 18 years of age. The ski pass is available for the two oldest children.

Ski holiday with children – Jungfamilienkarte

Do you have a baby or toddler and would like to go skiing separately with children as parents during your skiing holiday so that someone can always look after the little one(s)? Or can’t you go skiing together because of the little child? Then there is now the perfect offer for young families: the Jungfamilienkarte. You buy it at the same price as the regular adult ski pass and can ski alternately with only 1 ski pass. One parent can take care of the children at any time. This ski pass is valid for families with one infant up to the age of two. The Jungfamilien Skiticket is available from the 1.5-day ticket to the 18-day ticket. The ski pass is photo obligatory (mum, dad and the baby).

Ski vacation with children – Schmankerlbonus

Ski holiday with children – Children’s club

In the children’s club Kunterbunt you can play and do handicrafts. In Großarl an extensive children’s programme awaits you in winter. In the Kunterbunt children’s club, specially trained child carers ensure that boredom stays away on holiday. Only a few metres away from our ski hotel, directly on the slopes, our guests can take advantage of a full-day childcare service including lunch for children aged 3 and over at the Intersport Lackner on Tuesdays and Thursdays during their skiing holiday with children. The little ski bunnies have fun tobogganing and playfully feel their way to skiing. Lunch incl. supervision is served in the children’s restaurant. Registration is required at least 1 day in advance at Intersport Lackner.

Ski holidays with children – children’s ski course

During their skiing holiday with children, the little ones learn how to ski in the Ski Amade ski area very easily. Two very good and excellent ski schools offer ski courses for children. Children become skiers faster than mum and dad can imagine. The ski schools recommend 5- or 6-day courses with 4 lessons per day. Lunchtime supervision in the children’s restaurant or in various ski huts is also recommended. Children from 4 years (3 ½ years) can learn skiing in the ski kindergarten and/or with the child ski course. At the end of the children’s ski course there is a children’s ski race on the programme. In the ski schools exclusively qualified ski instructors teach according to the most modern knowledge of ski instructor technology. In addition, all other trend sports such as snowboarding, telemarking, etc. can be learned.
