In the third week of Advent, on December 16. In 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., this year’s Advent party will take place.

We want to sing, dance, tinker, play music, build gingerbread houses and make our way to the witch house. Our support association takes care of your physical well-being in cooperation with the team of the Johannes Kindergarten.

It is nearly time!

An exciting time begins. After the summer holidays, our pre-school children go to school. Until then, we celebrate the farewell party together with them and the educators of the Johannes Kindergarten. This will take place on Friday 05/07/2019 instead of.

Kindergarten summer party on May 18, 2019

On May 18th our summer daycare center takes place and everyone is looking forward to it! Children, parents, educators and one or two grandparents and friends will surely spend an eventful day together on the sports field in Büttgen.

The children and their siblings can complete a specially created sports course. In the end you even get a certificate! The physical well-being is also taken care of and fun is guaranteed anyway.

Large children’s junk on March 30th, 2019

This time our children’s flea market takes place earlier in the year. Already on March 30th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can dawdle again, look for bargains and the unusual and try the delicious cake at our cafeteria.

Please bring your own tables if possible. Most of the seats are indoors, but you can also sell them in the garden if you wish.

New dates for the playground

Spring is already making itself felt, and this means that the children have more fun in the playground. Everyone is looking forward to the new playground meetings of our parents’ council!

It starts on 02/27/2019 from 3:30 p.m. in the Luisenplatz playground. Centrally located and great for running, swings and carousel turns!

On 03/19/2019 from 3:30 p.m. it will continue on the playground Postweg.

The next meeting will take place on April 29, 2019 from 3:30 p.m., the exact location will follow.

Speculoos market 2018 a success!

On December 8th and 9th, many parents of our kindergarten became involved again to make the Christmas stand of the Protestant parish and the kindergarten a great attraction of the Büttger Spekulatiusmarkt. This year our stand was also particularly beautiful, with a variety of homemade, delicious and decorative items.

The sales proceeds go equally to the support association of our kindergarten and the Kindernothilfe. Many thanks to all the volunteers and organizers who, with their time, their dedication and their big heart, have made this year’s speculoos market stand possible and, above all, so successful!

The Sparkasse Foundation Kaarst supports us with a donation

We are receiving generous funding from the Sparkassenstiftung Kaarst for a water-mud system, which we hope will go into operation next summer! We are very happy about the donation, because we are quickly at an end with our own funds for large projects. Now we can hardly wait to commission the slush facility, and then we count the days until summer together with the children!

A big, big thank you from children, parents, educators, grandparents and all friends of our kindergarten for this generous donation from the foundation. The foundation also gives us new motivation for our commitment and our commitment to the support association, and it shows us how much good and beautiful can be achieved through shared engagement in Büttgen.

The association has a new board

A new board was elected at our last general meeting. Jennifer Hank was elected chairperson. René Thönnißen took over the deputy chairmanship and Rebekka Berghaus was elected treasurer.

The sponsoring association is very pleased to have three very committed parents on the board, who continue our successful work with lots of new ideas and a lot of commitment.

The previous board members Julia Röder-Cohnen, Doreen Heitland and Martina Bahl no longer stood for election because all three mothers are from preschool children and will leave kindergarten at the end of the year. Until then, however, they will continue to support the new board with a lot of support and will continue to be active in their function as committed members.

The Kapla wooden building blocks have arrived!

Thanks to generous support from the Volksbank Düsseldorf-Neuss eG, our support association was able to purchase great Kapla wooden building blocks! Each group received a large box with 1000 stones each in mid-September, and now you can build creatively what it takes. The team of educators is at least as happy as the children about the building blocks, which of course also makes us as a support association extremely happy. Because what could be nicer than making others happy? As a sponsoring association, we would also like to thank the Volksbank, which made our purchase possible with their donation. Because with own funds alone, the acquisition would probably have to wait a bit have to. Thank you very much!

A successful open day on September 15, 2018

It’s a tradition. In September the kindergarten opens its doors to all interested parents, children, grandparents and friends of the kindergarten. With a lot of heart, ideas and commitment, the educational team has once again created a very lively atmosphere with fun and games for the little ones and lots of interesting facts for the big ones.

Our sponsoring association has once again organized a small cafeteria, where visitors could refresh themselves with coffee, cold drinks and cakes, and got a little insight into our active, committed parenting, which is happy to support the children and kindergarten through the sponsoring association and parent council uses.

It was a very nice open day again!

The nest swing is there!

The new nest swing came before the summer holidays! The children are very happy, and of course the new swing is now in constant use. We owe that it went so quickly with the swing, in addition to the dedicated efforts of all members and supporters of the support association, but also the generous support from Sparkasse Neuss, which took over a large part of the financing.

As part of the summer festival, the swing was officially inaugurated on July 7, 2018 and handed over to the kindergarten. For our support association, it is the conclusion of a large project and a huge success, which was only possible with the participation of many supporters. A big thank you to everyone! The children are enthusiastic, and so are we at the Friends’ Association!

Large children’s flea market on June 9, 2018 in the Johannes Kindergarten!

Our annual children’s flea market took place on June 9, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to all sorts of nice things about the child, there were also delicious cakes and fresh waffles, and the garden area was also open to play.

The weather was good for us, just like last year, and so many visitors flocked not only to the rooms, which were full of great stalls, but also to the garden to enjoy one or the other piece of delicious cake. Here the parents and grandparents of our children once again outdid themselves when baking and conjured up a wonderful cake buffet. Thank you for the many delicious cakes and donations in kind!

The income from the stand fee, the cafeteria and donations go to our support association to support the many beautiful projects that the kindergarten is continuously planning. Many thanks to everyone who has actively contributed to the success of our children’s flea market with their help, through donations in kind, cake donations or a sales booth! Behind every successful event there are many, many hours of planning, preparation and a lot of work that our members – all of them themselves parents of small children – volunteered in their already scarce free time. This is not a matter of course, and that is why we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who is not only committed to the flea market, but also with so much commitment, ideas and energy for the association and thus for the kindergarten!

On May 27, 2018, the parish festival of the Evangelical Church took place

On May 27th the annual community festival around the evangelical church took place in Büttgen. The kindergarten was represented for the first time with an action stand for children. It was made, great hats were conjured up, and everywhere in the air it was buzzing with great soap bubbles of all sizes.

Our association was represented with its own information stand, where we reported on our work and informed about our current projects and goals. There were also small plants we grew ourselves, which we gave away as thanks for small donations. True to the motto: plants grow. Children too!

The Protestant parish donates 3 new vehicles for the garden!

The Protestant parish has a big heart for our little drivers who love to play on our outdoor area right now in the warm season. With the help of the Protestant parish, we were able to do three in April 2018 new, get great Winther daycare vehicles! From now on, the children can drive through the garden with a new Winther taxi and two new Winther FunCarts.

We are happy with the children and thank the church for their generous donation! The vehicles are expensive, but a wonderful investment, and they will definitely last a long time, making many, many children happy!

Donation handover for our swing project

On March 19, 2018 the time had finally come. On behalf of our association, Julia, Doreen and Martina accepted the envelope, in which we were given the funding from the PS income from the Sparkasse Neuss. We are very happy! Thanks to the generous support from the Sparkasse, we have come a big step closer to our swing goal.

The funding amount is very generous. Nevertheless, we still have to pay a not insignificant own contribution. We have to save a little bit more and diligently collect donations, but at the latest after our next children’s flea market, we should have enough money to finally enable the children to dream of their own swing in the garden.

We would like to thank the Sparkasse very much for this generous support, without which we would not have been able to advance such an expensive project.

Financial support from Sparkasse Neuss!

Large projects cost a lot of money. This is where we rely on outside help. Our absolute big project is a swing in the garden for our children, because the play area is getting old and very poorly equipped.

This is exactly why we submitted a donation application to Sparkasse Neuss many months ago. Our project is large and expensive, so we weren’t sure whether the Sparkasse would consider our application at all. Our joy was all the greater when we were in February 2018 Have received mail from the Sparkasse! We get a grant from the PS-revenue!

We do not yet know exactly how much funding will be available for our large swing project. We will only find this out during the solemn handover of donations on 03/19/2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sparkasse branch in Büttgen. We are already very excited! Whatever we are is motivated to keep going! After all, we want to make a big difference for our children and the Johannes Kindergarten!

Parents design the side rooms

On the initiative of parents, many helping hands in January 2018 the two adjoining rooms of the ant group and the fox group have been redesigned. Hardworking mums and dads sacrificed their weekends for this, and it was spatulated, painted and painted. The result is impressive! The two rooms are much happier now!

The association supported the campaign financially. Many thanks to all hardworking helpers for this great parenting campaign!

News from the general meeting

At the 11/29/2017 our association had its annual general meeting. Julia Röder-Cohnen, Doreen Heitland and Martina Bahl were re-elected as board members. There were also many good ideas and suggestions as to how the sponsorship association can support the kindergarten with both purchases and campaigns.

Among other things, we decided to support the redesign of the ants’ adjoining room with € 100. Dedicated parents want to make the currently rather desolate space more attractive with a lot of ideas and above all energy in January 2018. The association will make a contribution to the purchase of paint and other materials.

For the many wishes of the four groups such as dolls, doll clothes, doll buggies, accessories for the children’s kitchen, equipment for role-playing games, construction materials, duplo, magformers, hand puppets, plastic animals, etc., the sponsorship association will receive € 150 per group and 150 once in the coming weeks Make available across groups. We will gradually buy the new things for kindergarten in the coming weeks and are already looking forward to making the children happy!

We also want to support events in the coming months. Above all, we want to organize our own children’s flea market again in spring. But there is also a summer party for all families and friends, as well as support for all kindergarten celebrations.

The book bus from Mayer’s bookshop was in our daycare!

The classic car bus from Mayers is touring the country for the 200th anniversary, and on 11/14/2017 the Johannes Kindergarten in Büttgen was on the schedule. The children were all very happy about this visit, and in addition to an exciting afternoon there were bags full of new books for the children! We would like to thank the Mayersche Buchhandlung for this great campaign, the many books and the book voucher.

Our beautiful campaign with an overview of all playgrounds in Büttgen even made it into our local newspaper! At the October 25, 2017 the article appeared with a small interview and a good contribution to our engagement in the association. We are very happy about the article and have been even more motivated to make a difference for our children!

Open House on Saturday, October 14th, 2017, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Evangelical Johannes Kindergarten Büttgen cordially invites all interested to the Open Day 2017! From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. families, parents, grandparents or interested people can visit our kindergarten, talk to the educational team, or just have a look around. A colorful program of entertainment is available for children, with face painting, an exercise course and other fun activities.

Meanwhile, at the cafeteria, our support association Johanneskindergarten in Büttgen e.V. takes care of your physical well-being. Coffee, cold drinks and cakes are available for a small fee.

We are looking forward to numerous visitors!

Great children’s t-shirts from the association are now available!

From now on you have the opportunity to get a beautiful t-shirt from the association for your children! The t-shirts are of really good quality. For a donation of 7 € per T-shirt you can choose between the sizes S (approx. 92/98), M (approx. 104) and L (approx. 110/116). Ideal for the sports lesson, but also for excursions and cozy for at home.

The t-shirts are available at events such as Parents’ Evening (September 27, 2017), Open House (October 14, 2017) and of course always on request at [email protected].

Open playground on September 13, 2017 from 3 p.m.

Our Parents’ Council invites all parents and their children to the open playground on the Hubertusstraße playground (near the sports field and new development area) on Wednesday, September 13th! From 3 p.m. everyone has the opportunity to exchange ideas in a cozy atmosphere and to speak with members of the Parents’ Council.

The donation jar at magic woods is filling up more and more!

Sabrina and Oliver Wrede generously set up a donation jar for our friends ‘association in their great and creative shop in Glehn, "Magic Woods and Magic Woods’ Paradise". And imagine, in just a few months we have already received donations of over € 95! Only now in August Oliver gave us € 53.21 again. We are totally impressed and thank Sabrina, Oliver and all the numerous, generous donors! Thanks alot!

Thank you for a successful children’s flea market!

The weather was good, the mood too, and thanks to the great support of many parents and the educational team, we were able to spend a great day together! Cakes and waffles were well sold, and the line of face painting didn’t want to end. No wonder even with these great works of art, which our talented educators conjured up on the cheeks, forehead and nose of the children!

We would like to thank everyone who came, with whom they donated, both donations in kind and money, the hard-working helpers in the cafeteria, the baking of waffles, the organization and the assembly and dismantling. Setting up a children’s flea market is a lot of work. But it was worth it. We were able to raise some money again with which we will buy nice things for kindergarten as soon as possible.

Children’s flea market on May 13, 2017

On Saturday, May 13th, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. our children’s flea market instead! We are looking forward to a nice afternoon with many visitors and that many great clothes, toys and children’s accessories will find a new home.

The proceeds from the stand fee, cafeteria and donations will go to our support association! We save for a swing in the garden!

Interested sellers can now register at kinderflohmarkt (at) johanneskindergarten-buettgen.de or personally in kindergarten. For a small stand fee of 10 euros you can sell your children’s clothing, toys and accessories for everything related to children.

All parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and supporters: We are very happy about a cake donation (no cream, no alcohol) for our children’s flea market, as well as active help in the cafeteria and baking waffles! We are also happy to take coffee, milk, sparkling water, apple spritzer, napkins, paper plates, … and thank you for your great help!

You still have individual parts on Children’s clothing or toys, that are still perfectly fine and that you like us donate would like? We will put up a box in the entrance area of the daycare about a week before the flea market. You are welcome to donate children’s items and toys to us. The sponsoring association will be represented with the donated items at its own sales booth, and the net proceeds will go directly to our children! Thank you very much for your support!
