The 150 x 110 x 75 mm large heater has a switch on the front next to the fan. This can be set once on "fan", for cold air and once on "heat", for warm air. The car heater is simply plugged into the cigarette lighter and the 12 volt the car battery supplies the necessary voltage to heat the 150 watt drive blower. To what extent air cleaning it is difficult to judge how well it works, in any case both versions do not differ from each other visually.

I know a weak ventilation only too well from my old fiat, so I can imagine that the car heater can be quite handy. However, I do not think that the power of the blower is too strong. However, it should help to defrost the windshield, especially with air conditioners that take a little longer to warm up.

The stuff is just garbage, I’ve already tested four pieces of them, there is not even handwarm air comes out. The mostly have a power of 100 to 120 watts which is simply much too little for real heating. But that’s all a 12V battery can do.

Where do you see with the 1000W heater that it is operated via a cigarette socket?
I can see on the picture only 2 "crocodile clips" recognize and 83,3A (I=P/U; 1000W / 12V = 83,3A) is no challenge for a car battery.
If it was advertised that you could run the heater from the cigarette socket, I would agree with you (since 83.3A>) as 10-15A fuse of the supply line to the cigarette lighter socket are).
The good much cheaper people: at least 1.5 and better 3 liters of warm, not hot, water over the windshield and you can drive off directly.

If the water is not warm enough for the thermal shock, it immediately freezes on the window and instead of easily scraped off superficial ice, you then have a thick and stubborn ice shell on the windshield. Even if you immediately run the wiper, the streaks that are always left freeze immediately. With immediately go there is nothing or you come only 10 meters far and then sees even less than before. It’s not like you haven’t tried it all before…
In addition, if you sat the evening before with wet clothes in the car (or the car is simply no longer as tight as it should be), you also have moisture from the inside, which condenses on the first warm and then cooling window and freezes solid, which also leads to poor visibility from the inside.
Since helps only scratch the outside (or cover the night before) and heat from the inside. Younger cars do not only rely on the engine heat (which is not there when driving off), but heat up electrically when adjusting the windshield. Then it goes quite quickly. Ingenious is a heated windshield, which is free after a few seconds (and was in our ford simply "in").
From the water on the disc, whether warm, hot, lukewarm or cold, I can only discourage. And also spray chemicals on the window is not good. Not for the environment and the residues, which then clump together and yet ice, are also a hindrance.
