Hamburg sights for young people
Insider tips for young people – activities in Hamburg
Here are a few tips on where to find attractions for young people in Hamburg or which other locations are recommended.
Attractions & Events
If you want to deal with the sensation of blind people, you get a brief impression of what it is like to suddenly no longer see in the Speicherstadt, in dialogue in the dark. A moving experience. This experience will help young people to be more sensitive to blindness.
In the Planetarium Hamburg it is recommended to attend the various evening events with animated pictures and laser show. Some of these are accompanied by a DJ. So far I found the Pink Floyd Shows or the Deep Space Night for a chilled evening very cool.
You can experience extraordinary art and music that particularly excites young people at Kampnagel in Winterhude. Everyone will find an event there that will delight them. The International Summer Festival takes place there for three weeks in August each year.
If you like to go to the cinema but don’t like the UCIs of this world, you can find an alternative film program in Abaton (Grindelviertel) or in Alabama (also on the Kampnagel site).
party & local
If you are more after party in Hamburg, you will probably go to the Reeperbahn. For those who have never been there, Hans Albers Platz is a good starting point in the neighborhood. There you will find various clubs and pubs on one corner. A great alternative to the Reeperbahn can be found in the Schanzenviertel in Altona. You will like the relaxed atmosphere in the ski jump and the many bars, pubs and cafés.
If you are looking for a quaint pub in Hamburg and don’t want to be in the trendy districts of the city, you should take a look at the ZWICK in Mittelweg, near the Alster. There is live music in this legendary pub and you can smoke. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a nice bar for a cozy evening, then go to Gertigstrasse in Berglund. There is sensational advice for delicious drinks.
Activities outside in Hamburg
If you want to experience the music of a concert for free, you can sit in the summer with a grill in front of the open-air stage in the city park. Depending on who is performing in the city park, there is always a lot going on beforehand.
However, if you are looking for a quiet, romantic spot for a date, a cozy evening on the Elbe beach on the Falkensteiner Ufer will give the meeting a nice setting.
I hope these insider tips on sights and activities for young people offer some inspiration for what you can do in Hamburg.
