Probably due to the weather, only 20 children and about as many adults came to the Children’s Crossing Path through Braunau on Good Friday this year. A black cross, which each child had received and which was adorned with a different colored pearl in six special places in the village, led through the story of the last hours in the life of Jesus.

Again, short scenes from the last hours of Jesus were read in distributed roles at various suitable places in the village. The children then framed the carried cross with boxwood branches and pieces of fabric, with stones, with flowers, with pieces of rope, with snow (= water) and finally in the church in front of the altarpiece with the crucifixion with candles.
