Treatment for respiratory diseases

A targeted treatment with a cure utilizing natural and healing climatic conditions cannot be used for all respiratory diseases relief or healing is favored. In contrast, however, there are diseases of the respiratory tract that can be successfully treated through a spa stay. These respiratory diseases, which, as the classification already says, affect the respiratory tract, include, for example, asthmatic complaints, chronic bronchitis, a so-called catarrh of the respiratory tract and the presence of polyps.

With these diseases, it is advantageous if the external conditions in relation to the microclimate are constantly healthy. This requirement contributes to the fact that treatment of the diseases can be implemented at the basic triggers. The microclimate is largely thanks to fresh air and a pleasant temperature and favorably influenced sunlight. For this reason, healing and recovery cures are indicated, which include lots of fresh air and healthy climatic conditions. In addition, various forms of therapy are used to support the spa treatments.

bronchial asthma

Bronchial asthma mainly arises when the airways are subject to inflammation that is chronic. The bronchial mucous membrane becomes ill due to the constant irritation caused by the inhalation of harmful and irritant substances in the ambient air. In addition, asthmatic impairments occur due to physical hypersensitivity that lasts for life. Stays in fresh sea air or poor mountain air are extremely effective during a cure. The bronchi are no longer exposed to the triggers, which can largely contain and soothe inflammation. A climate is also very positive, which should not be too dry and not too humid, but should be balanced and sunny. That is why many people, both older, adult and young, as well as children, visit the maritime areas.

Chronic bronchitis

Chronic bronchitis usually arises from damage to the bronchial mucosa through nicotine consumption or through the inhalation of irritant substances. The climate in the autumn months is particularly recommended for a suitable cure. The high mountain climate can also be particularly beneficial for curing chronic bronchitis and respiratory catarrh. Especially in bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis, influencing factors such as the so-called partial pressure of water vapor, air pressure and partial oxygen pressure at high altitudes play an important role. This also applies to the temperature of the air. Chronic bronchitis is called permanent bronchial disease. As a result of chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive bronchitis can occur, which results in permanent impairment of breathing. This in turn favors the development of over-inflation of the lungs and life-threatening heart failure.

catarrh

Catarrh of the respiratory tract manifests itself in inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes that line the respiratory tract. The main symptoms are painful symptoms, disorders of swallowing and breathing. There is also persistent secretion of secretions. In order to intensify healing, even with this disease, which can greatly reduce the general condition, recovery and recovery cures are appropriate. All respiratory diseases are accompanied by a physical weakening and are not harmless on the part of the psyche. This is especially true for asthma. Therefore, the attractive natural environment is important for psychological stabilization during a cure.

Health resorts in Germany

There are numerous health resorts in Germany and geographical regions where the healthy climate predominates. These areas are mainly located near large forest areas where the air is low in pollutants, by the sea and in the mountains. In addition to the Baltic Sea, the North Sea is also suitable for a spa stay. This also applies to areas rich in lakes, for example around Lake Starnberg. In order to plan a cure for the treatment of respiratory diseases, the alpine regions or the Fichtelgebirge are considered recommendable. When planning, the climatic conditions during the different seasons must be taken into account. Bad Doberan and Bad Freienwalde, the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn and Bansin on the Baltic Sea are known as traditional health resorts. A well-known health resort in Upper Franconia is Bad Steben. Other curative climatic directions are in Bischofsgrün and the natural health resort Bad Alexandersbad. For people who feel comfortable on the North Sea, the island of Pellworm and the town of St. Peter-Ording invite you to a spa stay.
