In recent years, automotive systems have increased in number, scope and complexity. The automotive industry is faced with an enormous challenge due to competition and steadily increasing demands regarding cost, active and passive safety and fuel economy.

  • Software Based Automotive Systems
  • Vehicle Dynamics
  • Car electronics

After completing this program, you will have a degree in specialized automotive engineering.

Graduates who choose the major "Software-based Automotive Systems" Wanting to have the opportunity to work in the field of development, market launch and supervision of vehicle production.

Graduates who choose the major "Vehicle Dynamics" wants to have the chance to work in the field of development and testing of innovative automotive functions for steering, suspension and powertrain to improve ride & Handling, stability, driveability and fuel economy.

Graduates who choose the major "Car electronics" want to have the chance to work in the field of specification, to develop and to test the control units and their integration in the car, to put into account.

The teaching faculty consists of professors from the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences as well as experts from our corporate partners. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Vehicle Dynamics major: Bachelor of Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Car Electronics major: Bachelor of Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Software-based Automotive Systems major: Bachelor of Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Two confidential letters of recommendation
  • Letter of motivation
  • English language test for non-native speakers (e.g. TOEFL, our institution code: 1680)
  • 20 credit points in Electrical Engineering / Electronics for the major "Car electronics"
