Relaxed through the day

The country, which emerged from the historical Moravia and Bohemia, has been very popular in the past and is known for its health resorts, which included, for example, Karlovy Vary or Marienbad. Even today the spas in the Bohemian spa triangle attract numerous tourists. Karlovy Vary, for example, still enchants with old-world charm. Colonnades, healing springs and old building facades characterize the cityscape. In this environment you come to rest almost automatically.

South Bohemia, on the other hand, is a magical landscape that is best explored in spring or summer. Rushing forests, enchanting ponds and lakes, in between castles and fortresses, around which walking paths meander. The whole region is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, hikers and cyclists.

In Central Bohemia, many tourists are particularly drawn to the Vltava and its banks, to which many pretty towns are lined up. The tributary of the Elbe is also perfect for canoe tours and boat trips. Various wine-growing regions stretch along the Elbe, Moldau and Berounka. The most famous wine-growing region in the Czech Republic, however, is in South Moravia. White wines are made here. The region is particularly known for the Grüner Veltiner and the Chardonnay.

Discover the golden city
