it is easy to clean the machine using the maintenance programs. In addition, the drip tray and coffee grounds container have to be emptied and rinsed daily. The brewing group is fixed. The very hot water automatically and effectively rids it of coffee grease.

in everyday use, the jura A1 is easy to operate thanks to its few buttons. on the other hand, if there are error messages, it is occasionally necessary to refer to the manual to decipher the light patterns. Otherwise, it heats up quickly and makes only a quiet noise.

For whom is the product suitable?
The jura A1 is ideal for purists. design and function are aimed at one thing above all: very good coffee enjoyment, without distracting from the essentials with technical gimmicks. in terms of size, the machine is suitable for the private household of the traditional coffee drinker.
Strengths and weaknesses
The jura model A1 is reminiscent of the manufacturer’s ENA models, which have found their way into private households in large numbers. the selection is quite straightforward: the A1 dispenses coffee, espresso and ristretto. There is also an extra compartment for ground coffee, and the amount of water and coffee strength are variable as usual. It’s precisely this small selection that makes some users wonder, because you’d expect more from a fully automatic coffee machine. Technically, this machine also brews with the extraction process. The preparation of hot milk or milk foam is not supported, however. The water tank has a capacity of just 1.1 liters, and the coffee grounds container has to be emptied and cleaned after nine servings. While the small water tank can produce a maximum of three cups of coffee due to rinsing processes, the small coffee grounds container is less of an annoyance, after all, it reminds the coffee owner to clean this container more often. The clear and reduced symbol display is located on top of the machine. This can only be annoying if the wall cabinets in the kitchen protrude very far downwards and thus cover the display. The machine itself is with 32.3 centimeters, however, not very high.
this fully automatic coffee machine is available from 500 euros. The performance spectrum of this automated coffee maker is rather meager. Not even simple cappuccino can be prepared with it, because the milk option is completely missing. If you have a small budget, switching to another brand is certainly more sensible than buying a fully automatic coffee machine with no options for variation. For just under 400 euros, the siemens EQ.5 macchiatoplus, for example, even has a milk foam guarantee – in addition to regular coffee.
