South Tyrolean families with less than 25,000 euros in annual income are also entitled to the new state child benefit, the so-called bonus bebè. This is pointed out by family member of state councilor Waltraud Deeg after the corresponding implementing regulation has been published in the state law gazette.

The state also wants to dig deeper into the pockets for families and children. Similar to the country South-Tirol for years with the Has shown childcare allowance, the state now pays out state child benefit through the NISF / INPS pension fund. This child benefit is intended to benefit particularly low-income families. The decisive factor here is the state wealth indicator ISEE. Families whose wealth indicator shows an amount of up to 7,000 euros in 2015 can expect 160 euros per child up to the age of three, for families with an ISEE value of up to 25,000 euros the monthly amount is 80 euros.

Now that the relevant implementing regulation has been published in the latest state legislative gazette, the NISF preventive institute now has two weeks to prepare the telematic procedures for application and to put the corresponding forms on the Internet. Then it is the turn of families and parents of newborns and toddlers: from the entry into force of the decree, i.e. from April 10, 2015, they have 90 days to submit their application for child benefit and then receive it for all their own or adopted children for their third birthday. If you apply late, you will only receive child benefit from the application and not from birth or at the beginning of 2015.

State member of the family, Deeg, points out that families in South Tyrol who meet the legal requirements are also entitled to the state’s child benefit, although the state’s new childcare benefit, the bonus bebè, is not paid out by the state agency ASWE, but through the NISF. In addition, the state wealth indicator ISEE is to be drawn up, with the patronage providing assistance.

"The additional financial support can facilitate childcare at home, but in any case increases freedom of choice when it comes to childcare", explains State Councilor Waltraud Deeg. And precisely this freedom of choice is also a particular goal of the country’s family policy: "Families entrusting their toddlers with day-care centers, day-care centers or child-minders make it easier for the family and the state to pay for these services," the regional councilor is convinced and reminds that that country 38 million in state and state family benefits and maternity benefits will be paid out in the current year.
