Everyone on the road by bike!
One of the biggest advantages of a vacation in the mountains is the opportunity to stay in the middle of beautiful nature. Just 100 meters from the Family Hotel Gran Baita starts the Bike path from Fassa Valley, an almost 48 km long route, where you can discover the scenic beauties. On the way you can rest, take a refreshment or on the Playgrounds a relaxing break lay in to admire the panorama.

Thursday rafting on the Avisio river (former German name: Laifserbach)
The mountains take care of strong emotions. While the snow pistes lure in winter, in summer you can take an exciting trip on the inflatable raft.
Adrenaline and enthusiasm play an important role in this sport, and that safety is very important. Also Children over the age of 6 can participate, provided they are accompanied by a parent.
When: Thursdays from 8:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Paneveggio Natural Park
It is only an hour’s drive from the Family Hotel Gran Baita Paneveggio Natural Park: an ideal destination for a full day excursion with the family in this wonderful landscape with its original flora and fauna and the characteristic local products that are processed here.
Hikes and excursions
Soar up with your family and enjoy the view of the pristine, breathtaking landscape of the Fassa Valley: rocky, rocky slopes and green meadows with colorful flowers.
If you enjoy hiking and would like to take advantage of your stay with your family at the Family Hotel Gran Baita, we can recommend simple routes that are also suitable for your children: visit the "Cascades" in Val di San Nicolò, the Refuge Roda di Vael and many other magical places.

Riding: a sport that will delight you
It is only about 10 kilometers from the Family Hotel Gran Baita Angerle Alm riding school on the Codalunga pass for adults and children. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, learn the art of riding and gain experience with the second best friend of man – the horse.

On the trail of the marmots and squirrels
At the Family Hotel Gran Baita, the family is always the focus of our activities so that you and your children can be guided by experienced companions can always experience new things.
- Nature workshop for families and children (from 4 years): Meeting point at the hotel at 9:30 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m..
- As Alternative are 2 trips offered: one for children from 4 years and one for adults with meeting point in the afternoon at the Baita Cuz.
Stand as another option 2 excursions with 2 family groups and 2 companions with meeting point in the hotel and lunch on the program; the price of 15.00 € for lunch will be charged directly to the room account.
