Where are the best dentists in the world? (Medicine, doctor, pain)

Where are the best dentists in the world?

I just read that German dentists have a bad reputation internationally. Probably like to pull healthy canines and such.

But which country has the best dentists?

The result is based on 2 votes

5 answers

it is probably not the country that is decisive, but the competence of the dentist concerned. you can rivet anywhere or find luminaries .

I also think that the United States dentists are not necessarily the best. they like to make crowns quickly and wherever fillings are still used in europe

I think you can never say that exactly. Every country has surely good dentists, after all a dentist is studying his area of expertise. But I think that the best dentists in the USA are celebrity dentists who serve the rich and beautiful.

Research and science

Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Witten / Herdecke

The Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Witten / Herdecke focuses on the research and development of integrative, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approaches in the diagnosis and therapy of mentally ill children and adolescents. The topic is divided into three areas:

  1. Research into the therapeutic effects of physical activity and movement and the mechanisms underlying them in the treatment of mentally ill children and adolescents: Physical activity and movement have an effect on cognition, behavior and psychological experience. In primary prevention, physical activity can protect people from neurodegenerative diseases in old age (dementia) and from the development of mental disorders (depression). Physical activity and exercise can also show therapeutic effects in the treatment of mental disorders, which could be shown for children and adolescents for the course of depressive episodes and hyperkinetic disorders. The aim of our work is to analyze specific therapeutic effects of the different forms of physical training for the treatment of depressive and hyperkinetic disorders and to develop them individually >Studies on the effectiveness of architectural concepts in the treatment of mentally ill children and adolescents ("Healing Architecture"): spatial structures, colors and access to nature influence our psychological experience and behavior in health and illness. The Ev >Research and development of cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary care concepts for the treatment of children and adolescents with mental disorders: According to a biopsychosocial understanding of illnesses, the sole consideration and care of mental symptoms cannot do justice to a sick child or adolescent, since the biological-somatic and social level does not be taken into account. An interdisciplinary approach enables a broader access to the activation of the child’s resources with the aim of giving the child an improved development perspective from the illness. A cross-sectoral (outreach, outpatient or inpatient) and interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of mental disorders could be an option to implement an individualized disorder-specific treatment that takes sufficient account of both psychological, social and biological aspects.

Sedation at the dentist? (Health and medicine)

Sedation at the dentist?

I’m going to get sedation / twilight sleep at the dentist today to have my four whitening teeth operated out. Since the operation can take a little longer (two teeth are crooked) I am now afraid that I will have to go to the toilet during the operation, which of course will not be possible. Does anyone have any experience if you can feel the need to go to the toilet during sedation? Or you don’t care about anything?

Neeee. Everything cool :). I fell asleep right away. Woke up in between and just heard the dentist swear, haha. But there was no pain and I was gone again. So don’t stress yourself, your worries are unfounded. ;-)

Enamel cracks on the incisors (health, medicine, teeth)

Melt cracks on the snow no-links-and-actions >

I have had vertical white cracks on my incisors for some time. The dentist thinks it is enamel cracks and there is nothing you can do about it.

I forgot to ask if the cracks could get bigger?

Is a enamel crack very deep in the tooth, or on top of it?

Thanks for info.

But there is something you can do about it. ;) as long as there are only melt cracks you could use a so-called "bonding" have it done — that is. you have a very thin layer of plastic applied to your teeth. LG Josyline;)

Stay healthy service – how healthy is your heart?

Are you one of those people they say: “He has the heart in the right place”? Or does this vital organ occasionally give you “heartache” from time to time? Then you are in good company, because diseases of the cardiovascular system are at the top of the common diseases. If you make a conscious provision at a young age, it helps you a lot to reduce the risk of illness in old age.

heart pain can be caused by the heart tissue and the vessels. However, severe flatulence or simply dislocations that can have contracted during sleep can also cause heart pain. Remember: "Your heart has a lot to do with your personality", these wise words of a heart specialist from the Berlin Heart Center hit the nail on the head. If you’re excited, then “Your heart beats up to your neck”. In mourning one speaks of “Broken heart”, and lovers know if that “Heart leaps for joy”.

Professions where you can help people? (Medicine, profession, doctor)

Professions where you can help people?

I’ve been thinking about what I want to do for a long time. I wanted to be a doctor first, but then I got more information and I don’t know if I could do it. I also want to start a family later, and as a doctor in a hospital that would be difficult to regulate.

What other jobs are there where you can help??

5 answers

Take up a nursing profession. Elderly care would also be an alternative.

There are many professions where you can help other people. You don’t necessarily have to be a doctor – the nursing staff – if we stay in the nursing and rehabilitation area – such as Nurses, nurses, physiotherapists are just as important.

At what degree do you have a fever? (Medicine)

From how many degrees do you have a fever?

At a temperature of 37 degrees; do you speak of increased body temperature or is that still normal? When do you have a fever?

5 answers

Hey .. I am a nurse and as I learned in training, one speaks from 37.5-38 degrees of subfibril temperature (slightly increased) and from 38 degrees of fever. So at 37 degrees we wouldn’t do anything in the hospital, that’s completely unremarkable

Between 37.5 and 37.9 degrees Celsius body core temperature one speaks of subfebrile temperatures, from 38.0 of fever.
