What to do with children in Garmisch-Partenkirchen?

What can you do with children in Garmisch-Partenkirchen? We go with our children (3,4,7) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen at Pentecost and want it to be really nice for the children. Since I’m unfortunately working and we can rarely do anything, I want it to be something very special. Any ideas, tips or suggestions?

In Garmisch you can do a lot of great things with your children. There are beautiful hiking routes that are also very suitable for children. You could e.g. hike to the Werdenfels castle ruins. Children always love that, because the path is not very steep and the story behind it is also very interesting. There is also Alpspitz wave pool in Garmisch. I would definitely recommend that to you if the weather doesn’t cooperate. I also find the summer toboggan run quite amusing. I am sure that your children will like it very much. If you are a ski jumping fan, you can also visit the Olympic ski jump, which is next to the summer toboggan run.

Beach holiday with children in Denmark

we (2 adults and 2 children) would like to spend our summer vacation in Denmark at the beginning of August. It is particularly important to us that our water-loving daughter can go swimming. Here we are unsure whether the North or Baltic Sea coast is better suited. Can someone give us a good tip in which region we can best go on a beach holiday. Important criteria are that the sea is not too rough and the water is not too cold.

I would be very happy to receive helpful tips. Thank you very much!

Where to go on Christmas vacation as a pregnant woman?

Hello dear people who love to travel. I am just about to find the right country for our Christmas holiday. I will be about 25 weeks pregnant. Sun and beach would be great – but also a lot to discover, experience and take photos. Usually I always travel as a backpacker according to the motto the more exotic the better ;-) In my current state I know that I have to compromise somewhere – but the Canary Islands etc. is clearly too boring for me. I was thinking about Sri Lanka … I would be very grateful for any suggestions. Save my Christmas vacation. Thanks in advance.

How many hours before 3 toddlers arrive at the airport?

Hello dear community,

in July the time has come, and my husband and I are flying south with our 3 children (1,3,6) for the first time in many years. Our plane starts at 5: 55 and I am now thinking about how early we will be Arrive at Dusseldorf Airport. The journey there has already taken about an hour. In addition, it is the 3rd day of the summer vacation in NRW. So it may be that there is a lot going on at the airport in the morning. We fly with Condor, when would you go??

Turin in rainy weather?

Maybe that’s just me, but I noticed that I know less about the city I live in than about the cities I travel to. Somehow you never really get information about tourist attractions in your hometown, I think. Anyway: I have the family here in Turin (at least the retired part of it) and it rains like a bucket. This is never good for Italian cities. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do in Turin when it rains? They are not enthusiastic museum goers and I would only do this in an emergency. It also gives me a maximum of two hours ;-) Tips are welcome, thanks!

Vacation destination for young couple?

We are a couple around 30 and want to spend our vacation together. Most recently we were in Berlin and before that on the North Sea, but we would like to go a little further – not just Germany :-)

We come from Munich and an airport would be close by – but it doesn’t have to be a vacation to fly into.

We saved a little (around € 2,000) and would therefore like to experience something special. We have already applied for vacation in the first two weeks of August. Sure it’s the high season, right??

Since I am absolutely at a loss as to where the journey could go, I wanted to explore here for a travel destination that you liked quite well and I very much hope that you will send me a few suggestions.

It doesn’t have to be a party area ala Ballermann or Sunny Beach and can be happy to do with culture, excursions and strolls through the city. We would also prefer if the sea were nearby.

I’m sorry that I am so boundlessly haphazard, but that’s only because I haven’t been on vacation very often and therefore can’t really decide on any destination. I want to travel more, but first I need a start and a destination.

The planning is up to me, since my friend cannot make a decision and has no ideas.

I was already thinking about southern Italy – calibrations – what do you think would fit well for a travel destination? I would love Europe very much – but it is not a basic requirement.

thank you in advance!

Day trip from the Baltic Sea, where and what to do?

Hello dear users,

I and my friend have a week off at the end of August. Since there is not enough money for a real trip, I thought about giving him at least a little trip with a city trip.

We come from Mecklenburg Western Pomerania and are largely mobile by car, I would not like to use other means of travel because it should be really spontaneous and create a real surprise effect. That I just want to get up early in the morning on any day and say: Come on honey, get ready and get dressed, we’ll go! We had been planning something like that for a while, so get into the car and just drive, but for the city trip I would like to have at least rough clues in the back of my mind, because I would also like to do something special with him in the respective city. Ultimately, this is the question.

Which cities (outside of M-V, but also not at the lower end of Germany) do you recommend and do you have any suggestions for SPECIAL activities for this city? Something like strolling, museums or concerts are of course also nice, but I would really like to have something more special. Larger cities are preferred because we are still relatively young (U25) and it is clear that there is a lot more for our interests, I think even more unusual things :)

I look forward to your ideas and inspiration
