DISCOVER CROATIA EXPERIENCE ADVENTURE

With children you are different! You would like to travel with the whole family and do not know where to go yet? Why shouldn’t it even be a boating vacation? You don’t necessarily need your own boat for this, you can charter boats, especially in many Croatian ports. Once the choice is made between a motor boat, a sailing boat or a catamaran, the journey and route planning starts.

With children on board, this planning is completely different than when only adults are on the move. If we adults find it just relaxing to spend a few days on a buoy field, the little ones will quickly get bored. We have been going on a boat vacation since 2010, sometimes with the kids and sometimes without. We love Croatia because it is very diverse, has a beautiful and varied landscape, the water is wonderfully clean and we love Croatian food.

In Croatia, many people first think of the rocky coastal beaches, but many do not know that there are countless beaches on the 6000 km long coast. The crystal clear water and the beautiful beaches are a real paradise for parents and children. However, not all beaches are ideal for families with children, since the holiday with children has its own requirements. The Croatian coast is known for its diversity. You can always find artificial sandy beaches or lying plateaus. If you are traveling by boat, you have the luxury of getting to beaches and places that are not accessible from the mainland.

We are happy to spend the whole day on the beach because there is something for every age group! On the sandy beaches, Lorenz (4 years old) can spend a long time building sand castles or digging holes.

Meanwhile, we can enjoy the sun and splash around in the sea together. With a three-week boat holiday, there should be plenty of variety. Many sports and leisure activities for our big ones, but also for the little ones, attract us to different regions.

Traveling on a boat means that we spend a lot of time with our loved ones in a small space and all in an environment of inspiring beauty. The children learn to help quickly, for example when putting on, and everyone participates! Every boat trip brings us closer together. We eat together, see new places, go out together to get provisions or just hang out together!

Who we are: We are a family of five. Our three sons are 17, 16 and four years old. We generally love to travel. It can be a city trip or a longer trip. We spend the summer and our summer holidays almost exclusively in Croatia and still don’t have enough of them.
