Hiking – with mum-after

HIKE

We are happy to Walk in nature on road. That’s the only way we have the time and the opportunity to look at everything – and there is a lot to discover everywhere. Mostly not at first sight! But whoever lingers and looks more closely sees things that suddenly appear out of nowhere, even though they have always been there.

A little bit out in nature

If the weather is nice, the spontaneous idea might come: Let’s go outside for a while. Just wondering where to go? Drive far to a small one hike to do is usually too time-consuming. However, finding a nice circular route relatively quickly is not a problem. Hiking platforms are full of great suggestions and route information.

Hiking is also possible with small children

Just start small, maybe on a Sunday afternoon. A one- or two-hour tour in relatively flat, but varied and interesting terrain can easily create children with four or five years. Maybe you can beat the trip with a very special highlight like a game reserve or a quarry. What else you need to keep in mind when hiking with children can be found on the site Hiking with children.

The older the offspring and the better your condition and orientation, the longer the tours can become. Most of the trails are well signposted, but a hiking map should not be missing. As you read a hiking map correctly, you will find out in my Hiking guide for beginners.

Main thing out in the fresh air

No matter which route you choose, it is beautiful everywhere. And the recreational value in nature and in the fresh air is not to be underestimated. Already ten minutes in the forest seem very reassuring. Even in winter, a hike can be a real experience. Do not worry, with the right clothes and a little exercise cool temperatures are quickly forgotten.
